Beautiful white floral

Oh yes, yes, YES! I just love a big dramatic entrance. This is full-on white floral extravaganza. Gardenia, tuberose and jasmin in equal amounts. Pollen-rich at first, glowing white-gold in the end.

This feels good, no, great! But honestly not that unique. From a distance, I would not be able to tell it apart from some other fine white floral compositions. Never mind that, Mélodie de l'Amour is so well-executed. Simply beautiful.

Not exactly Snow White...

For a moment, just one brief moment, I thought the fragrance would stay in the rather clean and safe territory of Honour (Amouage). Oh boy, was I wrong! Put into the fairy tale, Honour would be Snow White and Melodie de L'Amour the wicked stepmother, yet still beautiful enough to contend for the title "the fairest of them all". They both wear a wreath of white flowers, but while Snow White, also known as Honour, shakes her hair, Melodie flutters her indoles.

The funny thing is that, as indolic and animalic and shameless as Melodie de L'Amour is, I don't completely dislike it. And, for that, I have none other than Miguel Matos to thank, who, with his Fado Jasmim, has hardened me. :))

Because, you know, if we kick Honour out of the story and insert Fado Jasmim in its place, our Melodie de L'Amour will suddenly become the new Snow White. :)))

A quintessential, perfect white floral

Parfums Dusita sent me a blind sample of Rosarine as part of their note-guessing contest, and along with it came a sample of Melodie De L'Amour.
Ahhh! MdLA is so captivating! It’s everything I was looking for in a white floral scent: it’s green, fresh, sweet, lush, buttery, feminine, and a little naughty. I find it similar to Truth or Dare but more wearable, less sweet, and heady.

Mélodie de l'Amour is a melody of white flowers

The Mélodie de l'Amour is the melody of white flowers, it's a strong fragrance, it's not an eau de toilette, but it's a real perfume based on white flowers. The flowers make the perfume stand out very much. It's a song for jasmine, gardenia and tuberose. And it's a good song. The flowers form a bubble of flowers around the woman and evoke the purity of the woman and her elegance. The perfume is immediately detected as a luxury fragrance, it's nothing fleeting, nothing ordinary - you can smell the quality. There is absolutely no musk on my skin, if there is, it is only in its pleasing form, no animalism. Melodie is a perfume that will appeal to lovers of quality white flowers who want to approach the original scent of a real bouquet.

Tuberose soapy subtle scent

I see this perfume un the same line than carnal flower by Frederic Malle or Jasmín Rouge by Tom Ford, although less intense and more soapy. Where Malle puts lot if coconut and Ford puts Woods dusita gives a Big load of musk and for me this perfume seens like a Jasmín soap. The performance is good, over all the longevity because the sillage is subtle, but i find It too light being an extrait the parfumw. The smell is very natural and the White flowers are clean as un the other two perfumes i have mentionated before. As most flowery scents i think It is totally unisex and suitable for any swason of the year. Maybe better for daytime wearing It with elegant or casual clothes (not very sporty). I would not buy It because i am a Big fan of CF and i think i dont have soace for bith perfumes in my collection, but for those Who find CF too sweet and intense this could be a good alternative. Not very original but very good versatility.
