When the Spice Rack Falls on You
Here comes the second EL fragrance (and yes,… EL stands for Essenzialmente Laura,… always so hard to write…).
I read musk and incense and therefore expect a light, smoky scent with sweet notes. What I get, however, is something quite different… but not necessarily something bad…
The fragrance:
Hmm… I smell many spices. Somehow with an oriental touch. I still can’t really identify any of them. I think the "main ingredient" is the clove mentioned by everyone here. For a brief moment, I can also smell spices like pepper and possibly even curry in the (far) background. There’s a whole bunch of spices that are hard to distinguish, as they create a big whole together.
Everything is enveloped by a cloud of incense that seems to rise between the fragrance notes. The scent is also a bit sweet, but in my opinion, you can’t really smell that from the musk; instead, it’s more spice-like sweet.
The sillage and longevity:
The projection is above average, although it is a bit stronger at first, but it weakens in less than an hour.
The longevity is about six to eight hours, but by that time the scent is only very faint on the skin.
The bottle:
The bottle looks like a light champagne bottle. The name of the fragrance and other information are on a label shaped to match the bottle. The cap is gray, cylindrical, and bears the perfumer's signature. Quite okay.
So,… if it weren't for the incense, I would have almost sprayed the fragrance not on myself but on my food, which of course I didn’t do, brrr… um, you believe me that I’m not that crazy, right?
In any case, I think this has become quite a spicy fragrance, very oriental in feel, but dosed in moderation, it remains in an acceptable range and doesn’t become extremely overwhelming. Therefore, the fragrance is better used in autumn and winter when men or women (as indicated, the fragrance is unisex) enjoy such scents. It has become more of a "normal" fragrance for occasional use, less for going out.
It’s not bad, but it does remind me of food. And since you smell various spices, it’s as if the spice rack has fallen on you and you smell like all sorts of spices :D
You can test it, but you don’t have to. Oh, and in a kitchen, the scent would definitely go unnoticed.
