Fig instead of rice
I had been looking for a rice fragrance that was reasonably affordable for a long time. So I was very happy when I came across Jardin Vertical, which focuses on rice.
After extensive testing, however, I cannot confirm this. For me, the fragrance is almost identical to Santal Blanc, with a strong fig note. Jardin Vertical is a little greener and fresher, it almost has something of a "fresh laundry dried in the sun" accord. But the green fig is in the foreground, slightly sweet, fresh, tart.
Nevertheless, I like the fragrance very much and I think that the scents harmonize wonderfully. Only the rice is untraceable and is probably still stuck in the rice stove.
