Liquorice heaven
a lovely take on the original Lolita Its not the kind off perfume i wear everyday . but this is truly a gem when i feel i need some cosy perfume , something to lift the mood up i go for this . it makes me feel sexy, strong and very feminin:)
the Liquorice is very strong yes , Dark and mysterios whit the Patcholi. Like in a deep dark moyst forest.
the Iris Lingers and makes it feminin, the Violet is not very strong , but i can feel a little off its sweetnes to.
This is a long lasting perfume for shure . this i spray one and it lasts and lasts all day , even better staying power then the Original .In the end when its realy settled . (hours one the skin)its a lovely Vanillic, chocolaty smell left on my skin , realy jummy. but it is a bit strange , some times its there and sometimes it just disaper befor i get to that stage . In colder weather it stays Whit the vanilla feel (i think)
i realy love it .

Realy good to spray together whit the original aswell to make the Licuorice stick out a little bit more :)
I would add to the note to thouse who like the Original and expect this one to smell like the same type off liquerice , Its note the same . this one is darker and more true to the Natural Licuorice :)

One of my Most Special...
In Strasbourg, I had it sprayed on me, as I hadn't seen it anywhere before, and I must admit that this sharp licorice note also put me off, and I left without it.
In the evening, something smelled incredibly good on me... completely different, unusual, takes getting used to, but really good :)

Long back in Germany, I just couldn't get it out of my head, possibly because it was so different in its scent development!

So I received it for Christmas and am proud to have it... even though it really only comes into play on cold days, due to its unbelievable heaviness!

It is dark, smoky, scratchy, and in its own unique way, mysterious!
Hardly anyone knows it, and it is like a kind of treasure in my collection!

On my skin, it lasts forever!
Even the next day, I smelled of it...
The sillage is also very good, and I hardly need to say anything about the bottle: enchantingly mysterious :)

The sweet wood elegantly nudges the licorice note aside at some point, and standing out is practically guaranteed!

It irritates me
This scent has really irritated me.
I bought it blind, as I was sure I would like it based on reviews, especially since I get along well with my two other LLs.

After the first spray, I actually felt nauseous.
The licorice note, extremely pronounced by the sweet wood, developed so unpleasantly on my skin that I wanted to wash it off immediately and never touch it again, or rather sell it right away. (Although I do like licorice in the form of kittens or snails :-)))
Even in the next hour, I found no pleasure in the scent.

But after about 2 - 3 hours, the fragrance developed into a very soft, warm, floral, and much less herbal, licorice direction, which is probably due to the iris and violet.

I never thought a fragrance could develop so oppositely. I've never experienced anything like that before.

However, I will still part with it, as the top note is just too unbearable for me.

I can't very well spray it on 3 hours beforehand and hide, just so I can go out in public with it :-)))

Initially tarred and feathered with licorice and patchouli, then immersed in deep "Dark Black" - a scent that Mazikeen would wear!
