A great Aquat with character
Oceania is one of the fragrances of Paolo Terenzi, which is unfortunately hardly noticed, the reasons for this I do not really understand. The association regarding a similarity to Percival I must deny quite clearly. Oceania has no resemblance at all to Percival or the twin of all modern Aquatics Fierce. Nor can I really see how any similarity would be apparent here.
The comparison with shower gel is true, but if that bothers one, the person should perhaps in principle give a wide berth to perfumes with aquatic, because that association exists here very often.
Oceania is one of the best Aquaten, which I have tested so far. Oceania is fresh with a bergamot and bitter orange which blends very well with the aquatic note. The fruits in the heart note slow down the aquatic notes and do a very good job of preventing an algae smell, or anything musty. I can't really identify the fruits individually, but these serve their purpose perfectly. The base notes with oud and moss make the scent darker and spicier again, and make it last well. I can only detect the base note very gently. Oceania pulls the aquatic theme through to the end perfectly and always remains fresh and reminiscent of a holiday by the sea.
The shelf life is also good. I can perceive Oceania good 8 hours. The silage is very strong for 2-3 hours and from the 4.hour the silage goes back to something under an arm's length.
