Last Light Henry Rose 2019

very very light and airy peach scent, lovely and refined but somewhat boring. the peach doesn't last long, but it is quickly replaced by a subtle jasmine scent. fortunately the patchouli note is very, very understated, so it doesn't overpower the woody-musky base. this is a unisex perfume, but IMO, this leans very feminine. short longevity but decent sillage, the lady at the post office said i smelled very nice :) this smells like peaches, flowers, fresh linen, and a sprinkle of garden herbs

I got this as a blind buy during their Black Friday 50% off sale. I took the quiz and bought what the quiz suggested - which I never do. I never even blind buy. I also bought Dark is Night because it looked appealing to me.

I'll start with - I like Patchouli, and it's a good thing because it's definitely prominent in Last Light. To me, Last Light is fruit forward - but the sharpish peach smell settles into a deeper peach smell fairly quickly.

It took me a while to realize how much I loved this perfume. It needs multiple sprays, and I put it on both skin and clothing. I'd say that it stays in about a 1-3 ft bubble, and I prefer it that way. At first it didn't seem to last very long, but two weeks in it feels like it's lasting 6-8 hours which is great.

I love this and can see it being signature worthy for me. My favorite thing is it's missing the "alcohol" or strong scent I associate with perfumes, which is what I always look for in a fragrance.

Last Light starts off with sweet peach notes, not at all overpowering. Just right. There’s only the tiniest amount of citrus with it. After five minutes or so, the perfume becomes woody, but the peach hangs in there. It’s like walking through an orchard. It’s end is a woody slice, still with peaches there. It’s a synthetic smelling perfume to me.

It’s light and lovely. I can see it only as a spring or summer scent, or one to be worn in hot climates.
