Beautiful Figs and Pretty Legs
Hello everyone, I'm back again to describe a new fragrance as always. Today it's about a scent from Héritage Berbère, namely "Figuier Sauvage," which translates to Wild Fig.
The fragrance was a gift from a very nice friend. She recently went on vacation in Morocco and, being the fragrance freak she is, she also visited the aforementioned perfume shop :)
She knows that I like fig as a fragrance note, so after her vacation, she sent me a small package with the scent and a photo of her standing in the Héritage Berbère shop in front of a shelf full of fragrances, dressed in a beautiful dress or short skirt, so lovely! :DD
After I had spent about two hours admiring her lovely legs,… ha ha ha, no, I meant of course examining the wonderful scents in the shop (… yeah, just don’t believe me! :D), I finally tested the fragrance :DD
Yes, yes… I’m terrible,… I know, I know… better not say anything!
Anyway, I’ll finally get to the scent now. Hopefully, the fragrance is nice too, as one has to be careful with figs sometimes, since there are the sweet-smelling, fragrant figs and then the green, but also rather musty figs.
But back to the fragrance: Here it seems to have a slightly creamy aura as well. Over time, the scent even becomes a bit stronger, especially the sweet notes come more to the forefront.
The fragrance then remains as described for a while. However, in the base, I like the scent significantly less. This is because the fig becomes a bit musty as feared, which is no longer a pleasant scent. By now, at least for me, it would be time to either wash off the scent or reapply it to enjoy the fig and the other fragrance notes during their lovely phase.
The fragrance is more suitable as a casual or everyday scent, as it’s not that spectacular for going out. It is unisex at the beginning, but towards the end, I perceive it as somewhat feminine, as it begins to smell more floral.
All in all, the fragrance is still quite nice, but unfortunately, it doesn’t make it onto my list of "Good Fig Fragrances" :D
And with that, I'm already at the end again. I wish you all a lovely evening, see you next time :)

Anyway, I’ll finally get to the scent now. Hopefully, the fragrance is nice too, as one has to be careful with figs sometimes, since there are the sweet-smelling, fragrant figs and then the green, but also rather musty figs.
The Scent:
The scent starts off fruity-green. You can smell juicy, slightly sweet figs along with green notes that smell just like the green leaves mentioned in the fragrance description. You have to imagine it a bit like when you take leaves in your hand, crush them, and then inhale the rising green scent. I really like that because it smells wonderful, similar to freshly cut grass, which also smells great to me. That’s why I often (since my childhood) crush leaves in my hand when I’m out and about and walk past trees, bushes, etc., just to enjoy the lovely green scent. But back to the fragrance: Here it seems to have a slightly creamy aura as well. Over time, the scent even becomes a bit stronger, especially the sweet notes come more to the forefront.
The fragrance then remains as described for a while. However, in the base, I like the scent significantly less. The Sillage and Longevity:
The sillage is rather weak and will likely only be noticeable up close or just for oneself. The scent lasts quite a long time, for a fresh fragrance anyway. It is detectable for more than six hours, maybe even longer, but as mentioned, it has a weak sillage, so it might feel shorter. The Bottle:
The bottle is thin and cylindrical, and above all, tall. Green cords with tassels and small metal beads have been attached to the neck, which makes the bottle look even prettier. There is no label; instead, everything is printed directly on the bottle. All in all, a nice and handy bottle. Conclusion:
Sooo,… okay, this scent is not bad in itself. I really like the beginning and the middle part, as it smells lovely of figs and green notes. This makes the fragrance fresh and well-suited for the warm season. However, towards the base, the fig becomes increasingly musty, as is sometimes the case with fig fragrances (it's somewhat similar to floral scents, which smell great at first and then only become musty at the end). I find that a bit unfortunate, but well, that's just how it is sometimes. Therefore, the fragrance remains in the (above) average range for me.
