The Mango Manakin
"Mango Skin" reminds me a lot of "Pulp", maybe combined with Ellena's nil'sch Jardin classic - and I like it well to very well.
The heading is therefore felt clearly rather lure, because there's hardly a real drawback here for me. Ok, maybe the not low price (210 € / 100 ml), maybe the shampoo-like touches, maybe its slight fruit acidity. But basically, "Mango Skin" is a welcome change in the fruity game, where mango is unfortunately still mostly not in the starting lineup, sometimes not even sitting on the bench. This human-creamy mango mix is a different story. It combines Vilhelm's undercoolness and its stylish minimalism with playful summer fruit cocktail/hotel/wellness vibes. Unusual, exotic, but quite clear and potent in its lines and aerial circles. The first two hours are even breathtaking in every way. A juicy iris as a backbone or corset does its part to win my heart, of course.
