Simple tobacco with an off-putting opening
Hmm… I liked this the first time I tried it but now I find the opening quite artificial. It’s a very chocolatey and coffee flavoured tobacco, and also has maybe a slight hint of patchouli. It smells okay but the chocolatey-ness smells like a blend of chocolate pudding, playdoh and sludgy clay. The coffee portion of the fragrance fades out quite quickly and leaves mostly just tobacco. At first it almost has a stale cigarette smell, then as it dries it becomes more of a dry and dusty tobacco, at first smelling slightly of sweet green patchouli and then further in the dry down softer and more incense-y. It’s a fairly simple scent and I like it okay after the initial and strange synthetic situation (which lasts maybe half an hour), but as far as tobacco scents go I think there are better ones out there.

Waterlogged soil
I work in agriculture, and I am intimately familiar with the scent of soil. I'm fairly confident that I could make a reasonable guess at the quality of a soil on scent alone. All this is to say that this perfume smells like a very low quality soil. I smell pale, reduced and waterlogged clay. It smells like soil that has been leached of all organic material and soluble minerals it once held. It smells like fine silica dust damp with swamp water. Dank and earthy in a way that I personally find very challenging. I'm sure that this perfume might be nice for someone who loves heavy patcholi and oud scents, but I don't think this is for me

Pipe Tobacco and Lint in the Pocket of an Old Sweater
Interesting. BELL'ANTONIO seems obviously masculine to me and offers a scent not unlike that which I imagine would be produced by a bit of pipe tobacco mingling with lint in the pocket of an old abandoned cardigan sweater. Like I said: interesting.

I would not want to wear this composition myself, but it might have real appeal for the guys out there who love a wide range of tobacco fragrances. This one is slightly dirty in a dusty (linty!) way.

Time for Reflection
This specimen came to me via a swap game. If I didn't know exactly where the scent came from, I would have bet on a real hit in the industry. Bell Antonio is a very strong, distinctly long-lasting, and warm perfume that doesn't take wide leaps but settles extremely solidly and pleasantly on the skin. You are immediately enveloped by a clear coffee note, which is by no means overwhelming, as it slowly but surely recedes into the background. The smoke, the slight scent of resin, and an extremely intriguing sweet note that reminds me more of Nutella just spread on freshly toasted bread come into play. Thus, the scent lingers for a long time, and I already feel some initial sympathy for it. If the coffee note were to dominate here, I doubt I would like it as much.

After about an hour, the perfume continues to transform into a smoky substance and feels significantly stronger, testing my nerves. In a positive sense, though. Because the smoke is not suffocating but rather soothing. Like a kind of fog, it envelops the senses and gives me a few unclear minutes.

Time for reflection.
Time to throw all thoughts overboard..

For the scent truly envelops you. It radiates coziness with a large portion of warmth that, however, does not sink into oblivion but is held up by the smoky note. Such wonderful encounters occur among the individual components.

It remains this way until it slowly fades away. By then, more than 10 hours have passed, and a small hint on the skin lasts into the next day. A stubborn little fellow, though not as sneaky as one might think after it has gone through a brief depth. This set in for me when I had already worn it for 8 hours. A bit of leather also joined in, which personally didn't appeal to me, even though I like leather very much. Here, however, the leather reacts a bit finicky to the others and unfolds accordingly.

I must say, it's interesting. I wouldn't have thought that this combination of initial coffee and smoke would appeal to me so much. However, it is still not enough for me to make a purchasing decision. Because I would wish for just a tad more warmth. But those are just peanuts!

An old sweater, an antique pipe, an espresso, without being overly saccharine or gourmand. Like a big hug after a winter walk

An initial impression of sour, stained linoleum; the sweepings of a dingy cafe after closing time. Meo Fuscuini's Little Song does it better

A slightly sweet espresso, polished but dusty wood, dry tobacco and cigarette ashes and pocket lint. Comforting!

First dry tobacco with some raisin sweetness - imagine rolling up a cigarette. Then warmer, fruitier, moisty tobacco.
Interesting. No coffee

A fine tin of tobacco
sits in the warm wooden house.
The coffee cup is almost empty,
but still gently wafts its aroma
I like this place.

Bright dry tobacco and dark espresso. Minimalist, unobtrusive, and elegant. But a gourmand?

A simple, linear, and not even that bad scent. Mainly coffee with sweet tobacco. It feels a bit artificial, yet it has something.

Fruity-spicy tobacco, slightly smoky, with a hint of coffee, wood, and sweet musk cream. This is beautifully crafted!

Maybe a mislabeling? I don't smell any tobacco at all. Floral and sunscreen-like. Pleasant, but nothing more.

Coffee, wood, and tobacco. Starts off well, but unfortunately ends a bit bland.
