My favorite from Hind Al Oud

Wore Ahojas to a crowded event at my kids school. Someone followed the scent trail directly to me and said, “Sir, the fragrance you are wearing is luxurious, it is different, and clearly stands out”.

I have not stopped smiling.

I own 3 fragrances from Hind Al Oud and Ahojas is my clear favorite.

Ahojas is a unisex fragrance that masterfully blends fig, white tobacco, and honey. The initial notes offer a green, milky sweetness from fig, balanced by the golden warmth of honey. At its heart, the intoxicating scent of white tobacco emerges, mingling with deep agarwood undertones to create a complex and exhilarating aroma. This composition exemplifies Hind Al Oud’s dedication to crafting luxurious and evocative scents, solidifying Ahojas as a true masterpiece in the world of perfumery.

I purchased my bottle at the Dubai Mall location for $205 USD.

Echo of Lovers

The sun shines brightly on my skin and burns the story of last night into me. Sweet figs danced in honey. Enveloping us. Coating every inch of our bodies. They were pleasure, consciousness, and unconsciousness. The scent of skin and light tobacco. In the morning. After that. Before longing drove me into the desert.

Ahojas already takes my surroundings and me on a warm cloud of figs and honey from the very first spray. Both the honey and the sweet figs present themselves as a successful confection. As an appetizer! Everything feels real and very familiar. At the same time, the opulence and the masterful weaving of the fragrance carpet signal: Orient. And thus enchant even more.

After a short time, white tobacco joins in, along with the first notes of oud from other layers. They soften the inherent sweetness of the top note and give it character. They contrast it. The white tobacco is so beautiful that one doesn’t think of smoking/cigarettes or smoke, but rather of the virgin leaves that lightly ferment just after the first drying. Everything is still very close to life. To nature. The aromas are unpretentious and therefore fit perfectly together. Especially since tobacco and honey harmonize perfectly in their accords anyway.

The oud provides a spicy base. It is gently animalistic and skillfully structures another important facet of the fragrance in contrast to the sweetness and the initial partnership with the tobacco. It warms in a very mystical way and never pushes itself to the forefront. And yet it perfectly complements the virgin tobacco with its woody, resinous accents. It gives everything an erotic aura. Full of power. Without needing to be loud.

Ahojas is a fireworks display for the senses. Especially when a feeling of warm skin is created through tobacco, honey, and oud that cannot be more sensual. It is not an oud scent. It is not a honey gourmand. It is not a tobacco scent. It is Ahojas. And thus more and everything said before. My jewel.
