Love Never Dies - Black Jewel by Jeanne Arthes
~ Association ~
Flowers blooming at night among fruit-bearing orange trees.
~ Perfume Bottle ~
A black jewel that fits well in the hand. Will I become the hoarding dragon again, protectively laying my claws - uh, hands - over my jewel? Of course! The dragon protects its little treasure of gold and jewels and always accumulates more finds *sly eyes get* :o)
~ Odor ~
Mysterious, seductive, enchanting. It starts with citrusy flowers, and as it develops, I smell jasmine and a very light cedar note. Unfortunately, I don't smell honey at all. Patchouli is also pleasant in this perfume, not musty at all. Mandarin and orange blossom round off all the notes.
~ Longevity ~
The scent lasts several hours on my skin - about 5-6. At first, it fills the room, later it stays close to the body.
~ Occasion ~
For leisure, going out, cuddling.
~ Summary ~
A initially lush citrusy, floral scent carried by heavier accents, which later fades gently spicy. I would categorize this scent more for autumn, winter, and spring. In summer, it would be too heavy for me. Those who enjoy depth, darkness, and mystery can certainly give this a try.
