Sol de Janeiro dupe with a small downside
This is said to be a dupe of Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa '62, the perfume version of the famous Bum Bum Cream. I have Cheirosa '62, but only a partly used bottle with less than 15 ml left, so I was really curious to try this... Maybe it could replace my Cheirosa' 62 one day?

To make a long story short, it is very similar, but it won't replace the original for me.
At first, this smells like a very nutty version of Bum Bum cream with an undertone of sunscreen, but then it quickly takes a sharp turn and a scratchy, plasticy, almost green smelling note comes out for about half an hour. I have no idea where this is coming from, but it's very abrasive and ruins the experience for me. I noticed it all 3 times I tried this.
When that disturbing phase is over, the scent becomes nice again. It's a summery gourmand with a strong coconut note, but also pistachio and almond. They're not listed here, but they're listed for the original Cheirosa, and to be honest I find the pistachio even more pronounced in Boum do Brasil.
The drydown turns warm and vanillic with an undertone of creamy caramel.
I always found Cheirosa '62 to be mysteriously fruity, but I don't get that from this one at all. Instead it's leaning a little more tropical floral, the added tiaré note really makes a difference.

I definitely recommend any fans of Sol de Janeiro or coconutty gourmands to sample this. But I would not advise to buy it blindly, even though the price is extremely affordable - it's not a perfect dupe. On the other hand a 9€ fragrance will hardly break the bank, so... Do what you need to do.

A gourmand for all seasons. Straight up smells like a nice, coconutty, crumbly cookie. What a delicious bargain.
