Flower Soap
Ivy League is a pleasantly fresh Eau de Toilette with a lot of musk. It comes through immediately and gives the fragrance that typical soapy touch. You really have to like that fundamentally, or else just stay away from it.
Above the musk are floral and citrus notes, and it’s the full range of the usual ingredients. Hardly anything stands out here, perhaps the jasmine is a bit more present. But again, not prominent enough to stand up against the musky soap. It’s interesting that a perfume with this name doesn’t actually contain any ivy. You have to wait over an hour for the soapy scent to soften and for you to slowly enjoy the jasmine.
I’ll keep it short, I don’t like it. It smells too soapy to me. Moreover, the top and heart notes are a rather uninspired mix.
