Easy to Wear Easy to Love
This is a Gorgeous Fragrance, Elegant, Classy, Spicy, Airy, Modern and Complex. A lovely Hidden Gem with a beautiful Opening and a pleasant dry down , It is a cross between Hugo boss in the opening and Calvin Klein Man in the dry down. I really enjoy it and I love it. Nowadays, It is hard to find and very Rare , You can't go wrong with it. I'm so happy that I have it in my collection. The Violet and Orris Root notes are dominant in this perfume. Longevity is very good, In my opinion, Signature is the best of Kenneth Cole for Men, Highly Recommended.
Two Thumbs Up.
Bravo Kenneth Cole !

Sushi is not a solution either
I’m currently at the Chinese restaurant around the corner and in front of me is sushi platter No. 44, sweet and sour. The water lily surrounded by seaweed is so overpowering that I can’t even enjoy my coffee afterwards. With a bit of imagination, you can even smell the dead, raw fish on damp wood.

Chemist, your forest must be somewhere in China.
TVC15, I have a story.
MartinGE, I guess I’m young. *happy

The bottle is still the best part of it...
...and I can't think of much more to say about Cole's "Signature".

It's a somewhat flabby, slightly lye-like, mildly sweet aquatic. The comment below from MartinGE, that it would stylistically be an 80s fragrance, hits me like a brick. 80s???!!! That???!! Please!

I can't think of a single scent from the decade before last that would be similar to such an olfactorily tired and shallow thing.

At the beginning, slightly sour grapefruit and somewhat unnaturally sounding violet mix together, while the water lily, surrounded by the usual post-2000 aquatic synthetic nuances, quickly becomes prominent.

Slightly Asian in tone, the water lily has a somewhat herb-floral quality.
Espresso? Yes, perhaps vaguely detectable in the form of a slightly black coffee-like bitterness.

Unfortunately, none of this is stunning; the composition strikes me as a bit lye-like, shallow, and unnatural. That the base then features the favorite wood of all post-2000 mainstream average perfumers, the misty-sweet-rubber-toned guaiac wood, which forms the core theme, concludes the fragrance just as it began.

The color scheme of the inherently beautiful bottle along with the color of the liquid stands in stark contrast to the content - one expects something dark, powerful, woody, perhaps leathery - and gets a harmless, watery, and powerless Aquaguajak concoction.

It's like getting into a pretty, dark leather Jaguar with fine wood elements and breaking through the floor onto the street...

Hmmm...
Hmmm... yes, the scent is quite good. "Quite good" - similar to saying "I care about you" instead of confessing your love.
I've had it for a while, but I haven't brought it out as often lately. I once thought it had a somewhat herbal-woody character. I would revise that today; it is rather fresh at the beginning and then transitions to a somewhat flat spice. For a fragrance from a designer who clearly aims not to celebrate great niche perfumery art, but to appeal to the mass market, it is still quite successful.
It's worth applying again from time to time...

Coffee, Captain?
I admit, I might be a bit behind the times when it comes to trendy fragrances, but what the espresso beans are up to here with the maritime notes is still not entirely clear to me.

I always think a fragrance should have a coherent theme or even a story. Here we have the sea and something melony, so roughly nature, but then in the middle notes suddenly - ping! - a whole coffee roastery or maybe a street café, just to fit in words like "metropolitan sophistication" on the sample card. So it's urban after all and not field/forest/meadow or even a luxury liner? The packaging and the cap, on the other hand, have a wood structure. No, something conceptually isn't quite right here.

The scent is really not bad and, in my opinion, would have done just fine without them, but the espresso beans completely threw me off :)

From the many slices of cake below in the fragrance classification, it’s clear that Kenneth Cole Signature is quite versatile in interpretation.
