Ananas Fizz
This fragrance opens with a creamy pineapple note; it is sweet and fruity, but I would not really describe it as juicy — except for the first few seconds. Despite its name, this is not a "solifruit" as the scent features other sweet and sparkly fruit and flower notes too. Citrus and coconut create a main accord that resembles everything from a summer cocktail, exotic fruit bubblegum or sunscreen. I believe this fragrance is not supposed to mimic pineapple as a real fruit — unlike Mango Manga for example - , but rather as a product, a flavour, an abstract. In fact, I associate what I see to pineapple yoghurt. Dominated by cedar and vetiver the later stages of this fragrance are surprisingly woodsy and smoky. Keeping with the overall theme of summer and airiness, these two notes are light and add a polished, clean dry-down to the fragrance reminding me very much of Terre d'Hermes's use of vetiver. All in all, I would say this is a fun summer scent, perfect for the day and a casual evening. However, it is very light and does not last long on my skin, after three hours the fragrance is gone.
