I am a sucker for honey. So after the (just ok) gentle Eau de Miel was discontinued, and the sore-throat candy flop of Miel et Citron, i was intrigued and hoping for the best with this Miel & Vanille.

It will please the gourmand lovers. It certainly smells foody, but despite i love the scent of honey, i dont like smelling like dessert. A good choice for the vanilla & caramel fans, the honey is completely overpowered by vanilla and caramelized sugar (which i could appreciate separately but find dreadful together) It may please also very young consumers.

L´Occitane hasn´t made yet a truly stunning honey perfume. Which is surprising, since some of the body products of the 3 honey lines smelled wonderfully. I specially remember the acacia honey handsoap, the lemon and honey cream and an absolutely enticing incense sticks, all of this now discontinued.

The bottle is very pretty though, i regret i gave it away.

Lemony Honey Cake
~ Inspiration ~
In my search for honey scents, I received a sample of "Miel & Vanilla" from the lovely Serafina. Before that, I was unfamiliar with both the brand and the perfume.

~ Bottle ~
The elongated bottle with golden liquid is designed in a honeycomb shape, fitting the name, and thus already suggests a honey scent.

~ Fragrance ~
It starts lightly citrusy and spicy with lemons and a hint of cinnamon. Sweet honey and caramel give it a fine, gourmand note. With vanilla and a touch of patchouli, it finishes warm and creamy.

~ Longevity ~
On my skin, it lasts around 4-5 hours (a bit longer on clothing and hair). You can comfortably use several sprays without it feeling overwhelming.

~ Occasion ~
A delicious, sweet lemon cake scent for the cooler days in autumn and winter (also suitable as an office fragrance).

~ Conclusion ~
Due to the lemon note, it leans a bit towards "Zuckerschnute," which used to be available at DM (I had the Labello of that).

hmm.. very pleasant
I find this scent very delicious.. but neither too sweet nor too overpowering.

I have been more keen on vanilla.. the lemon was supposed to be a surprise for me.. and I really only like honey in delicate doses :D

But here the balance is really great..

It smells incredibly warm.. in my opinion, it's suitable for any season.. although I tend to prefer it during the warmer months up to autumn.

On the skin, it is a bit weak on the chest and not particularly long-lasting on hair and clothing, as my predecessor already mentioned, I imagine a bit more :D

The light spiciness is exactly my thing..

I really like the scent very much

Delicious Honey and Lemon!
I was in Essen yesterday. I actually wanted to spend my money mainly at Sahling, whose branch has been closed there since today. The saleswoman had known about it specifically since the day before yesterday, by the way. It’s really anything but fair to the employees. Just a side note.
Now, most of the stuff at Sahling was already gone or just nothing special, except for 21 by Costume National, which I picked up, but that belongs in another comment.

There’s also a L'Occitane store there! The salesperson was very nice, very flamboyant (why do you encounter so many... I don’t want to offend anyone, other people’s sexual orientation is completely irrelevant to me in most cases, I just notice it, this was already the third one this week, so many flamboyant guys...?), a fan of Hermes fragrances and actually wanted to push the Neroli coffret onto me. It’s nice, but somehow reminded me too much of Classique.

But this one... haach... unfortunately, Honey & Lemon is no longer available, but this is quite an adequate substitute!

Lemon-sweet-golden and just a tiny bit spicy. That’s actually enough to describe the scent, as it doesn’t really develop.

It starts with honey-vanilla-lemon and ends with that too. In between, cinnamon and caramel flash (although I’m not sure if that also belongs to the honey scent) and patchouli appears, although I suspect patchouli only in homeopathic doses. Because, I usually smell patchouli IMMEDIATELY when it’s in something, then there’s normally not much room for anything else.

Towards the end, the lemon takes a step back and the vanilla steps forward.
That’s it.
I didn’t know the honey-lemon scent very well, but it’s not a big difference. Grass is missing here. Otherwise, it’s also honey-lemon. And vanilla. This one is, as I remember, more honeyed.
EDIT: I read that there was hardly any lemon in the other one, well, there’s lemon in this one!

The longevity on the skin is just okay, the sillage is better. I suspect that the longevity is more present on clothing and in hair.

The lemon also works in summer, it takes away some of the sweetness. You should still be a gourmand or honey fan. Otherwise, it’s nothing.

(Maybe I’ll go back for the Neroli coffret. It was on sale for €17...)

Delicious vanilla-lemon gourmand with a hint of patchouli after about 15' - a tasty autumn-winter scent - H&S could be better.

Initially smells like lemon cake, later vanilla takes over. There are more intense honey scents. A gourmand casual fragrance for sunny autumn days.

Honey, honey, honey - and a tiny bit of vanilla. But that's sweet too. Somehow, it feels like there's a little 'corner' missing.
