Innocent, fresh & clean
As a native Frenchwoman, I am almost always surrounded by L'Occitane products and have been since I was a child. Various sets, creams, oils and co. are a staple of almost every French woman and are passed on extensively from grandma, to mother, to aunt, to cousin, to daughter & then to the next generation. Besides the Amande (almond) range, the whole Fleurs De Cerisier (cherry blossom) product range has always been a pure dream for me. Whether hand cream, shower gel and co. until L'Occitane fortunately decided to produce this typical hand cream scent as a perfume and I am more than grateful for it. It smells 1 to 1 like the Cherry Blossom hand cream!

The scent is slightly tart from the cherry (in a very pleasant way). It is accompanied by a pleasant and VERY light sweetness, most likely freesia. And rounded off by a very gentle, not at all penetrating musk note. The musk and amber definitely give it that "clean girl" smell. Although the amber is almost unnoticeable. It doesn't really have a fragrance progression, but all fragrance directions are present simultaneously the whole time and make their own important contribution.

It is fresh, clean, light and sweet at the same time. For me personally, it is an absolute skin scent. For others around me, it is barely noticeable or not noticeable at all (which is a shame). Unfortunately, the longevity is also poor. On my skin, it lasts a maximum of 3 hours until it can only be perceived very minimally by aggressively inhaling the skin and various parts of the body (which can lead to very skeptical looks in public, among other things). It's a real shame for the price, but it still doesn't stop me from buying it because the DNA is a pure pleasure for me. It's also worth mentioning that there is no alcohol smell at any time. L'Occitane is known for using mainly ingredients of natural origin and this is also noticeable in the fragrance. It smells naturally fresh, not synthetic or intentionally fresh.

It's perfect for spring and summer. I also love wearing it to sleep. But I like it best layered with For Her Musc Noir Rose (a little insider tip, but shhh).

I don't know exactly why, but somehow for me the fragrance represents young, beautiful, shy, Japanese, clean, feminine & soft energy. The fragrance doesn't scream. It is reserved, but when you notice it, you are completely blown away by it and wouldn't want to be without it.

Happiness in a bottle
Fleur de Cerisier is the perfect cherry blossom fragrance for me. Even though I have, of course, by no means tested all the cherry blossom fragrances in the world, I would like to leave this sentence as it stands. Why?

When I spray on Fleur de Cerisier, the fragrance is immediately there with all its notes. It is subtly fruity, very fresh and infinitely wonderfully floral, cherry blossom and gently woody. For me, all the components are perfectly interwoven. Musk, rosewood and amber sing in the background and ensure a balance so that it does not become too sweet and too fruity around the cherry blossom, despite the fruit. There is no real progression in my fragrance. And I think that's great! Because I love the fragrance from the very first second and I don't want this impression to change at all.

Spring is of course the perfect time. But after extensive experimentation in the colder seasons, I have to say: it's perfect here too. Because when I spray it on, I wake up, the sun rises, my mood lifts and I feel as if I could be in the most beautiful paradise. In fact, few fragrances evoke such strong feelings in me. Here, fragrance really equals feeling and images in my head.

The longevity for me is great. I honestly never looked at the clock, but I would guess that it is clearly perceptible for at least 4/5+ hours. Considering it's an eau de toilette, I think that's quite reasonable.

The sillage clearly seems to be there. It is always very difficult for me to name or rate it, as I am ultimately unable to judge it myself without feedback. However, since I have already been approached by those around me with enthusiastic words and questions about the fragrance, I conclude that it leaves a pleasant veil of air, which is why I rate the sillage as very good.

I would also like to add a brief comment on the shower gel to the review of the eau de toilette and I can keep this very short: The shower gel does exactly the same as the eau de toilette. However, as is typical of shower gels, it does not last long on the skin. What counts here is the experience of lathering up. The shower gel can also be used as a bath foam. And taking a bath with it is - even in the depths of winter, with the nastiest of weather - a real treat and deep relaxation with sunshine in your heart and cherry blossoms as far as the eye can see.

Blind Buy
Naaaa, who has been tempted again by the beautiful description and the great bottle and NATURALLY ordered the big bottle blindly? ?

I live very rural and have the scent of cherry blossoms exactly in my head. And I think that is sometimes a problem with me. My imagination is too fixed and I am then sometimes a little disappointed when the fragrance does not exactly match. At the first spray I thought, hm not bad but he has something pungent, bother me possibly the currant?
But I must say that evaporated very quickly and remained a neat and pleasant fragrance that I liked to apply and use very often. Especially in everyday life or in leisure you can not go wrong with it.
Especially nice for warm spring and summer days.
So in the end but not a bad buy :-)

Clear scent progression
Yesterday I bought 10 ml of cherry blossom because the box looked so soft and bright and just so inviting :-). So nothing with testing and stuff. Well. Apply immediately and actually start off with the promised delicate flower freshness. Whoa! That never happens to me before. But that was unfortunately the best thing about the whole fragrance. Quite quickly it became a bit pungent, flowery and soapy, and I had to keep my nose at a distance. How can you look so pink and then be so mean? - But after about an hour it was over, and a (again) soft-woody tone came to light. I liked him now quite much; if only he would have been a little clearer ... Then what? It was over. I wasn't mad either. - Definitely not for men, I'd say. And not for young women. And don't get your nose too close.
