A Gourmand Dream, Washed Away

The opening is delightfully gourmand, with a lovely blend of vanilla, rose, and a subtle hint of rum in the background. So far, so good.

But then, things take a turn for the worse; the fragrance suddenly turns soapy. A scent that’s deliciously tempting, intertwined with the unmistakable cleanness of soap (which no one wants to eat), is simply a mismatch.

I suppose this soapy touch comes from the aldehydes, a pity...
