Jean Paul is that you? Or are you not wearing perfume today?

Perhaps Maurice Roucel was sitting at the same table as Francis Kurkdjian when he created this fragrance.
For my part, I smell strong similarities to Le Mâle Eau de Toilette.

Immediately after spraying it on, you get this really wonderful smelling lavender-mint combination, and the cardamom is added shortly afterwards.
On my skin, this fragrance is clearly characterized by lavender and mint.
The mandarin rounds off the whole thing for me. In the end, this is also what makes this fragrance different from Le Mâle Eau de Toilette. Without it, I would almost say it wouldn't be a fragrance in its own right.
In comparison, the fragrances are somehow the same, but still different.

When I bought a bottle after testing it for the first time, it took me a few tries before I really liked it. Some fragrances just need a little time and sometimes we just need a little patience.

The bottle is really something to look at, but doesn't look particularly high quality in the hand. Even when I spray it on, the fragrance gives me the feeling that it is not of high quality.
This is confirmed once again during the course of the fragrance (on my skin), as the durability and sillage leave a lot to be desired on all levels. With this fragrance, it even happened for the first time that I was asked at work whether I had forgotten to put on perfume today. Kind of a shame.

The H/S severely limits its usability, at least for me, although this fragrance is one that could be worn for all occasions in the winter and fall months.

Overall, this is actually a great fragrance that I really like to smell, but the fragrance was not thought through to the end in terms of performance.
