Polo Sport Ralph Lauren 1994 Eau de Toilette

This stuff is great for summer. This smells very clean, fresh, sharp. Its one of the best in the world. The projection is very good & Longevity is good. One must own in their summer collection. 9/10

Got my hands in this back in the mid 90's and loved it. I saw it on sale and bought me a new one in spring 2017. The scent is the same, fresh minty. Maybe they have reformulated it, it last 2-4 hours on me now. So I would not recommend it as an all-day scent. I use if for the gym mostly and short errands in the summer time. The scent might not last, but be careful with the sprays. I would say 1-2 sprays max, it is heavy while it last. I use 2 sprays before gym and even after an hour of sweating it is still there. For the purpose of being a sport scent, it does do very well and since I'm old school, I rather use this scent at the gym and not smell the same as everybody else.

A variation on Cool Water, where the marine note has seaweed, and the crab apple is fruity gourmand.
It's well made, but seems to be going through the motions; like a Hawaiian shirt that’s only seen the beach from an air conditioned bar.

Hello fragrance fam!
Today were covering Polo sport. I would classify Sport as an aromatic fragrance with aquatic touches. It shares similarities with scents like Cool Water by Davidoff, with a refreshing, clean and uplifting scent profile.
-If your looking for the original formulation. From 1994-2001 bottles that have a batch sticker underneath that say "Cosmair" are the untampered formulas.
-After 2001, Cosmair was bought out by L'Oreal. Its formula was then altered and the new manufacturer on the batch sticker will say "Luxury Products".

A very disappointing generic smelling scent from Polo. It was as if RL tries to please everyone and instead pleases none fully. I don't get any originality here at all, and if this fragrance-by-poll scent is going to smell similar to every other "sport" scent, why bother? Pass on this one. 2 stars out of 5.
