Dee-lish!
Forget Issey, this is what yuzu is about. Zesty, juicy and totally natural feeling.
Together with this salty vetiver, it provides a long lasting just-out-of-the-shower freshness for those ultra hot summer days. For a citrus scent, the performance is outstanding.
My favorite 'freshie' at the moment!

Lovely summer fragrance
I smelled it today and it catched me it the first second. The yuzu smellls like a perfect mix of citrus and lime. I only sprayed once but one was enough, my whole nose was full of it, of the fresh scent mixed with the yuzu. The price is very well and for this kind of smell very cheap. I always hated only-citrus perfumes but this completely catched me and will definitely buy it for the next summer .

Totem of the Canary Islands
The citrus competition is extensive, it's not hard to get lost in it and choose something boring and popular. But certainly not with the 'Note de yuzu' fragrance. This citrus delight bomb doesn't let up. This unusual blend of exotic fruits and sea salt makes you feel like you're on a beach in the Canary Islands with a warm breeze hitting gently against your tanned skin. This is how this piece of wonder behaves.

After spraying the fragrance, we are enveloped in the wonder of these islands- amazing, juicy yuzu, lemon and orange. The whole thing is very fresh as well as zestfully bitter. The extremely original composition is very penetrating and sensual.
Sea salt, in being salty, does best. We are absorbed by the sensation of emerging from the depths of the ocean as the skin under the influence of the salt begins to wrinkle gently. This unusual sensation was unseen for me in any of the other salt scents so far.
The base here is Haitian vetiver and musk which brilliantly add a touch of sweetness, like a lemon tart on a hot day. As I used to compare, it is the essence of warm beaches at sunset. After a long day lying on the beach, we head in the evening, in comfortable sandals and a linen shirt, to a great restaurant by the cool water lapping against the rocks. It just feels great to hear people dancing and singing at dusk under the lighted totems, while being wrapped in our new favorite scent.

The beauty of this fragrance lies in the sunny and exotic heart of the eponymous yuzu, picked from the tree at the perfect moment of ripening. I can't imagine a better option for hot days on a faraway island. It is exceptionally long-lasting for a citrusy one and sufficiently noticeable. It has a special place in my heart and I think it is an extraordinary scraper of compliments. It is worth every penny and I will not fail to purchase myself even more of this summer young god.

Citrus by the Mediterranean
Opens with this gorgeous, bright mandarin and yuzu, giving way to fresh lemons. The citrus here is one of the best, and I absolutely wish it lasted longer. Afterwards, it transitions into a salty, aquatic aroma with some clean, musky undertones and bit of vetiver. By the time it has reached this point, the projection is very close and it persists a couple more hours. The citrus is so good at the start that I just want to keep reapplying. Or at least, I would on someone else. Unfortunately, I wish this smelled as good on my skin as it does on a tester or on my partner. On me, a salty, green woody smell comes out strongly, dimming the citrus. This persists for the first 15-20 minutes before settling to something more similar.

Ultimately, this is a citrus bomb followed by somewhat realistic, Mediterranean aquatic scent. Similar to Sel Marin, but with a strong citrus bite and more of an interpreted ocean scent than a realistic one, as the citrus softens it a lot and the algae and seaweed aren't present. Both are great, and which one I'd recommend largely comes down to your personal skin scent and preferences in aquatics.

Sel Marin vs. Mandarino di Amalfi
Heeley - A great brand by perfumer James Heeley from England, who produces under the Heeley label in France. This brand offers some beautiful creations and is not overly expensive for niche standards. Regularly, the EdPs cost 130 euros and the Extrait de Parfum around 150 euros. Not cheap, but acceptable. I already have one in my collection: Sel Marin. A fantastic authentic aquatic. With this note of Yuzu, I have another candidate for purchase that might find its way into my collection. Whether it will happen this year is questionable, but possibly next year.

This fragrance is an Eau de Parfum. On the label and in shops, it says Maison Kitsune x Heeley. Seems to be a fashion label from France.
The Heeley bottles are very classic and give an elegant impression. Great cap and beautiful glass.

As I already mentioned in my title: This is a fruity-citrusy scent with a concentrated dose of salty aquatic notes. This mix doesn’t quite evoke the feeling of a fragrance twin, but those who like the two mentioned scents will probably enjoy this one as well. The comparison to Mandarino di Amalfi by Tom Ford only concerns the beautiful top note, as from the heart note onwards, the orange blossom comes in and from then on has nothing to do with this fragrance.
The opening is very strong and somehow also sharp-spicy. It settles quickly, bringing a wonderful freshness. As stated in the pyramid: Yuzu, mandarin, and grapefruit. Fruity, citrus-fresh, bitter but also juicy. I can recommend Yuzu to everyone, even in other creations. A fantastic fruit from the Far East. The aquatic nuances remind me a lot of Sel Marin. Salty, seaweedy, and authentically aquatic. The aquatic scent doesn’t smell like many shower gel fragrances, but rather as if you were by the lake or the sea, smelling a lovely fresh breeze. I really like this mix of authentic aquatic and fresh-bitter-juicy citrus. It harmonizes and stands out significantly from the common summer styles.
Performance is quite decent, especially for a summer fragrance. About like Sel Marin for a few hours with respectable sillage. Recommended. Well-suited for summer leisure activities with a lot of good-vibe energy.

I give it a clear recommendation to buy. A rating of over 8 is completely justified here. A fantastic fragrance that stands out and is great to wear on warm days.

Beautiful, realistic yuzu opening that gradually develops a marine note. Sadly becomes more lemon/orange and less yuzu as time goes on

Excellent juicy citrusy freshness turning into a faint salty marine-vetiver scent. I only wish the opening phase lasted longer.

Very close to Mandarino di Amalfi but with a heavy Yuzu note like in L'Eau d Issey. Overall better than both imo. Summer in the bottle

Bright, salty citrus with a mineral-vetiver tang. The sprayer on the 15 mL size is incredible.
