Super fresh cheapie

Amazing freshie, in a millennial era style, has a clear rosemary body together with dewy aquatic notes and violet leaf, references can be made here and there to L'eau Bleu d'Issey, Lanvin Homme Sport, Calvin Klein Truth and Acqua di Gio. It's like a mash of all. Also speaking from memory, this has resemblence to the discontinued Bvlgari Man Extreme. If you love the golden era of Morillas-esque aquatics of the millennium, you'll probably love this too.

Fluffy cloud!

This is so sweet fragrance and i mean in a non-sugary way. It's soft, fresh, warm. Like a fluffy cloud
It's start with a chamomile although its not listed in the notes, but that is all i get from the top notes, in a way initial start reminds me of Issey Miyake L'Eau Bleue d'Issey Pour Homme. After it's brighten up. It's perfect blended, so i don't get any unpleasant fighting notes
It's an everyday happy scent.

My first great love, and: how everything started for me on Parfumo.

Most of you have probably experienced something like this too. :)

This was the first 'more expensive' fragrance that I treated myself to as an early-twenty-something back then. Until then, I had only used cheap scents, 0815-freshmen, typically aquatic.

And when I smelled this fragrance for the first time, it was love at first sniff. I knew immediately that this was the one I had to have. It was so different, aquatic yet sweet, a bit decadent as well - on one hand sporty, but on the other hand from a luxury brand. (In the olfactory world still mainstream ^^)

It was like a loud scream in a room where everyone else was just whispering. As if Michael Jackson had just shown up at a wedding and started singing (and dancing) Thriller. A little androgynous perhaps, not 'ultra-masculine', but confidently it immediately draws all the attention to itself.

At least compared to everything else I had smelled up to that point.

I would describe the fragrance as a balanced triad of sweet, sour, and fresh. As a topping, there’s a hint of spice (the rosemary, I think), which gives it a good dose of masculinity back. The sillage and longevity are definitely good enough, as I even received my first fragrance compliments for it when going out in the summer back then. :)) And it felt simply amazing because I knew no one smelled like me.

I have gone through quite a few bottles of it, which by the way, I find quite appealing due to the transparent milky glass look, even though they always maintain the sporty aspect.

At some point, however, it happened that I knew I had to try more. The fragrance had lost none of its uniqueness, but over time you just wonder what else is out there - if there is something this good. :)

And then my next safari began, right here on Parfumo. I stumbled upon the site because I wanted to find similar fragrances that might be a bit more high-end, as it does have a slightly synthetic feel.
And I came across so many other amazing things - in this parallel world, where one simply loves to retreat and relax, that I have since become more and more intertwined with this fantastic community, which you just have to find charming over time! :) And like so many good perfumes, it also has its rough edges that you come to appreciate over time! ^^

It was a small step for me, but a big step for my olfactory passion!
(I could also have said a big step for my wallet :'D)

When passion and appreciation for art bring people together and it smells so good, it’s just a win-win.

Porsche for the Masses

Of course, the average person thinks of the car when they hear the name Porsche, the one we girls used to admire. But the friends we had couldn't afford it. And the men who could afford it were far too old for us! But anyone who only thinks of the car hasn’t read to the end. Because Porsche DESIGN was founded in 1972 and stands for stylish and straightforward accessories for the man who gets into the car:
Watches, sunglasses, suitcases, bags, fashion, lamps, knives, kitchen appliances made of brushed aluminum, and so on.

Stylish and straightforward: Can this fragrance be described the same way? Initially, the scent reminds me neither of athletics nor of football; my mental image doesn’t include a jogger or a judoka. Perhaps a golfer, who might also have the famous car parked in front of the club.

Well, anyone belonging to this elite circle would surely not wear a fragrance in this price category. So we need to lower our expectations a bit and not be as demanding as the drivers of the car; then we encounter Porsche Design Sport, a pleasing, green-spicy scent with a refreshing, energetic top note. The rosemary adds a touch of Mediterranean cheerfulness. Please forgive me, but I still can’t make sense of the term "aquatic notes"; however, that doesn’t matter because the green heart note leads into a much more expressive base. Soft, but not sweet, with a subtle green-woody cedar note and surprisingly long-lasting. I like that. Yes, this scent ensures that even the Porsche driver doesn’t embarrass himself in everyday life. After all, he will also drive to get bread rolls and not just to the yacht club.

And why shouldn’t the average consumer adorn themselves with a luxury brand when they get into their Astra? We ladies are also pleased when we have a Hermes bottle in our handbag, even if it’s not from Hermes, but just from (.....).
