Noble Cognac or Whisky as a Perfume
"Eau de Bruxelles" is a fine gourmand scent for me. I don’t smell any apple or peach. The fragrance leaves me with a coherent overall impression - old cognac or whisky aged in a wooden barrel - from the beginning of the scent journey to the end. Visually, one can imagine it like this: sitting in an oak wood room, possibly in front of a crackling fireplace in a leather armchair (yes, a hint of leather is also present for me) and enjoying the fine-sweet-fine-fruity-resinous scent of aromatic cognac. The fragrance does not smell synthetic to me.
In my opinion, this beautiful scent is best suited for the colder season, for example, around Christmas. This perfume is unisex, but on a man, I believe it would gain more depth and expressiveness. I find the longevity to be good and the sillage to be moderate.
