Noble cognac or whisky as perfume
"Eau de Bruxelles" is a fine gourmand scent for me. I don't smell apple or peach. The fragrance leaves me with a coherent overall impression - old cognac or whisky matured in a wooden barrel from the beginning of the fragrance to the end. Figuratively one can imagine it this way: one sits in an oak wood room possibly before the burning fire-place on a leather armchair (yes, a breath of the leather is present also for me) and enjoys the fine-sweetly-fine-fruity resinous smell of the aromatic Cognac. Synthetically the fragrance does not smell for me.
In my opinion, this beautiful fragrance is best suited to the colder months of the year, such as Christmas. This perfume is unisex, but in a man it would, I think, get more depth and expressiveness. I find the shelf life good and the Sillage mediocre
