Edgy geranium/mollified clove
Finally got time to get my nose on some indies and some rare niches. Libertin Louison has always been a point I saw in horizon, a triumph, and indeed it is.

My Burning Secret, although not a outrageous artistic creation, but evokes really original sensations. It's a fresh deep spicy aquatic fougere with sharp opening, mollified clove and edgy geranium and lavender. Lavender is out if its strange herbaceous mood. The whole composition is soapy, fresh, lightly smoldering, softly barbershop'ish, and pure masculine.

Longevity: 8/10 strange stubborn power, it doesn't get off.
Sillage: 7/10 strong mist around wearer.
Scent: mandatory for "no shave November" men.

My Burning Secret? I'm Growing a Beard!
Finally, I get to continue my Libertin Louison testing series. Dove, get ready, soon it’s your turn *gg*.

When I heard the name "My Burning Secret," I actually thought of a feminine scent and was surprised to find out it’s a masculine one. Because it really is, masculine! I can’t imagine it on a woman for the life of me - unless she has a beard!

The opening is reminiscent of, let’s say, a low-priced aftershave. Luckily, it’s short-lived, as the lavender quickly takes over and leaves the geranium, mentioned in the pyramid, hardly any room to speak. It can only play a shy part until it becomes relatively spicy.

Spicy, to be precise. Here, half of the spice cabinet has been emptied - the half with the bitter, dry spices - and incorporated into the scent. Intense, strong, with a lot of wood in the hut! It doesn’t get animalistic, just a little warm.

This is a scent for the whole man, the man who insists on having no feminine side (illusion, my gentlemen!). A scent that is strong, robust, and all-encompassingly masculine. EP, you could have warned me! Me and a beard - that just doesn’t work!

Lavender, geranium, and citrus in balance, watery on one hand, spicy on the other, subtle in one way, striking in another.

How does one come up with such a name.
Simply a Cool Water family member... not bad at all.
But secrets burn differently.

Definitely not a bad scent!
Lavender is not in the foreground.
Fresh citrus opening.
Later spicy sweet.
Barbershop vibe.
I like it a lot.

Not unpleasant, but not very spectacular. A mediocre lavender scent with a citrusy opening, there's not much more to it.

From the citrusy opening to beautiful lavender aromas and spicy-sweet base notes, a successful fragrance.

A gentle breeze would be a better fit. Nice fleeting freshness, little lavender, more spicy, yawn!

Citrusy-fresh-herbaceous lavender, later becomes spicier. Amber is only very subtle in the background. Always charming, it has something special.

Someone obviously has a burning aftershave secret without smoke and without fire.
Pleasantly fresh, but nothing more.
