Love & ghosting
This fragrance is outstanding. For this one, I took the risk of ordering from the producer's shop despite negative feedback regarding their customer service and perfume shipments (YouTube video "Technique Indiscrete Perfumes - Do not buy"). Unfortunately, I experienced the same treatment at the end of 2022, part of the order was sent after a month, then they did not respond to emails, finally after a complaint to PayPal, they sent the rest of the order after 3 months. I thought I had been deceived and robbed by them.
Coming back to the fragrance, it is worth taking the risk of buying it :) It consists of earthy notes and musk giving the effect of a luminous aura. I don't smell vanilla or benzoin, though I wouldn't say it's a patchouli scent either. The notes are so mixed that the warmth of sandalwood, cedar and other "warm" notes fill the space between the earth and the coolness and wetness of marble and opposite, the luminous heavenly musk, absolutely not soapy. Wonderful, although the way I was treated by the company disturbs my perception of the smell a bit

a Very Timid Oriental...
The opening of this fragrance is not very pleasant...In fact, it starts out quite rough! The citrus seems to be a sour, and bitter combo. Then the cedar appears, and it still is unpleasant to my nose, but I decide to persevere, and continue wearing it to get the whole picture! I usually adore these type of fragrances..Oriental, woody and spicy..but, of course, each fragrance has it's own style, or personality. This particular fragrances has a sort of thinness to it, it is hard to explain, but let's take Coromandel for instance. Coromandel is a rich, creamy fragrance, as opposed to the thinness this one has. I feel Santa Subita is trying to portray a Coromandel type vibe, but even though eventually, the dry down is rather nice, it lacks something...something to give it that missing richness. It lasts quite well, and as I stated, the dry down is very nice. I have worn this several times, to give it a fair chance, but it still remains a fragrance with a weak personality...to my nose anyway).

A cuddle with a kick
Even though it isn’t one technically, the first thing you notice is that it has the definite profile of a natural perfume, by this I mean that it has a rawness about it, that only high quality essential oils can give.

Like many of Louison’s creations, this is strong and projects with gusto.
It is a very resinous fragrance with a spicy leather twist that renders an edgy warmth.

A Smokey Amber is how I would sum up Santa Subita.
It smells wonderful when you catch wisps of it during the day, but not so much up close, at least to start with, because then you are assaulted by the rawness mentioned earlier.

These types of perfumes are all too often associated with winter, but I find that they develop beautifully in the heat of summer.

A great addition to any collection.

Holy Good Boredom
Well, Latin is not one of my areas of expertise, but it must have something to do with holy, if the devil is not involved.

I must admit that with such a name, I expected incense. To my surprise, the main theme consists of patchouli, which raises the question of whether patchouli has ever played a role in monotheistic religions?

Be that as it may, Santa Subita feels to me like a scent hewn from a block. Aside from patch, sandalwood, and resins, I can't identify any other fragrance components.

Santa Subita only shows a change in intensity, which on my skin quickly shifts from deafeningly loud to pleasantly subdued.
The longevity is, however, very good, as with most patch scents. Santa Subita lasts on me for a whole day easily.

I'm not sure if I would really wear this scent in the long run, as the sweet monotony does become a bit boring over time.

Suddenly Holy or Holy Suddenly???
To get straight to the point - neither. After a fortunately short but somewhat prickly start, a cloud of incense follows (Ergoproxy is used to different calibers and therefore doesn't even notice it anymore *g*). Actually, it goes puff, as it is already gone quite soon.

Then a scent spreads that somewhat reminds me of Coty's wonderful L'Origan. Spicy dark, dry woody, and very balsamic.

But before I can enjoy it, it weakens and weakens and weakens and we....

After two hours, a sweet-spicy, quite pleasant aroma can be perceived, but it is hardly existent for the surroundings unless they are right up close. This little atomization lasts a bit.

Conclusion: nice attempt, unfortunately it remains just an attempt.

Quite an elegant patchouli scent with leather accents and benzoin: unfortunately, the fragrance is as distinguished as it is boring, although well-balanced.

Patchouli & Benzoin in a tender embrace - warm, dark, balsamic
When we spread the veil of vanilla over it, citrus fruits are present.

Patchouli scent for the elegant woman over 60.
Unfortunately, it starts off with a sharp synthetic note.

A full-on start "with everything", shortly after a wonderfully dark patchouli with lots of wood, nicely dry and slightly dusty, soft and unisex.

Classic patchouli in brown, with earthy speckles, dusty vanilla, and a hint of aftershave - just shy of unisex.

A beautiful soft and gentle patchouli scent with warm musk and vanilla accents in the base. Longevity and sillage could be better.
