Summer breeze with fig
It has always been a principle of mine to give fragrances of all kinds a chance without prejudice, no matter whether they cost 500 or 5 euros a bottle, and no matter how they come packaged and named. Since it was to choose a fragrance for a lady who likes to smell good but decidedly does not care about brands and images, and as an everyday gift in the big bag (and not as a formal gift), it was obvious to look at the weekend shopping at Lidl times at the perfume shelf.
After some attempts with unedifying results Mrs. von Spee and I were found with this fragrance, with which, as usual with Aldi and Lidl, is saved on the design, on the assignment of a meaningful name and everything else, but it also costs only under (!) 5 euros.
Geknickert is also on information, I could neither a fragrance pyramid ausfindig make, nor a discreet reference to what this fragrance is a dupe (I think times, these fragrances are mostly dupes to something). Pre-reviews don't exist here either, so I'll try an ultra-blind short description:
Lovely meets as a (very pleasing) modern, fresh, cool, somewhat sporty fragrance. Who had expected because of the (probably strangled) name with flowery stuff, sweet tooth or Balzhilfsstoffe, will be disappointed.
The use of synthetics is not shied away, but that is not only since Cool Water yes also no longer treated as a capital offense. The freshness sounds here but less aquatic than, hereby related, ozonig-etherisch. I feel reminded of Mirage by Harry Lehmann. That Lehmann felt by me as a summer heat fragrance par excellence I like very well, unfortunately, hardly anyone knows him, so that the cross-reference will help most readers nothing.
In addition, there is a (also pleasing) fruity note, which I, although I do not give much on my blind test skills, would once boldly address as fig. However, it is not (as in my nose often, I'm extremely fussy about fig fragrances) an overly soft slush fig, sweetish, broad, contourless, playing into coconut, but a fresh-tender, dewy, almost snow-sugared variety. That fits very well overall.
Also with the performance one can decidedly not complain. The radiation is powerful, without slaying and the scent is after evening testing the next morning close to the skin, but quite clearly still to feel.
