Underrated bitter-green chypre

An astonishing scent. Opens with a burst of citrus, then shows its heart of green jasmine and iris teamed up with cinnamon. Gives way to a cool and green base of cedar, benzoin, leather and oakmoss. A green, leathery, mildly floral chypre which sits right between "Miss Balmain" and "La Prairie Life Threads Platinum". Elegant and long-lasting, a bit "melancholic", though. I picture it on a very serious lady who does not wear her heart on her sleeve.
Seems to be underrated.

Eve Cigarettes

Does anyone remember Eve Cigarettes ("You've come a long way, baby!"), the long, elegant slims from the 1970s with a floral border at the filter? Strass does not smell like those ciggies, but it does evoke a smooth blend of florals and tobacco that reminds me of them. Great for day.
