How I just hate him!
Most people will wonder why I hate my "signature scent" of all things. Simply because it is not my signature scent!

Confusing, isn't it? Actually not, but why this is so, I will explain and especially with Tabac Original one cannot explain it often enough!

First of all I would like to stress that I love Tabac Original and there is probably no other fragrance that I have consumed so inflationarily. But only the After Shave and the EdC and here we have the problem!
The EdT is only partly related to the After Shave and the EdC, but so many people just don't want to understand that (apparently not even Parfumo himself). Like many salespeople I've had to explain that the EdT smells different than the EdC and the After Shave, I can't list it with two hands any more, but noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo These are the same fragrances, only that the EdT contains more "fragrance oil" listen to. No, no and no again! Please dear salespeople, clean or train your noses to sniff out the difference. Or at how many DM shops I have already discovered that the tester is the EdC, but then they only sell the EdT. Troublesome, I know, and I had to let off my frustration about it here.

Now for the fragrance itself. The EdT version of the Tabac Original isn't that bad, only it shouldn't be called Tabac Original because it's just misleading for the customer who doesn't know that the EdT is going in a different direction than his brothers EdC and After Shave. The EdT version reminds me a bit of Pico Rabanne pour Homme, because he goes much more in the soapier and spicier direction, which is why I think he has an independent character

I LOVE this EdT !
My mother gave me the idea because - and I can also remember this - my father (73) used AS when I was little. The white bottle was in our bathroom and I sniffed at it every day When I now bought the EdT and presented it to her, she felt transported into the past, although - and I have to agree with the previous speakers - the EdT smells EXTREMELY different than the EdC / the AS. Maybe I should show her the AS again, because it smells more like my father used to smell.
But I also like the EdT better.
And my wife, my sister-in-law and my daughter are also not very enthusiastic about the AS (the EdC was not available to me), it reminds all three of very old men from our acquaintance who are still alive and some of them are no longer alive.
Personally, I must also say that the AS does not knock me off my feet either, it is rather sweetish, the EdT clearly woody, spicy, lemony in the top note.
I'm gonna stay with the EdT. Right, actually it must have a different name, because it is related to the other products, but not identical.
I'm gonna be on the EdT forever. I finally found MY scent All other perfumes in my collection I will sort out/purchase, because they don't come close to the performance of TABAC ORIGINAL EdT !!!
Too bad I didn't discover it earlier, then I could have given up many experiments (Sculpture, various Beckham-EdTs).
Hats off for this unique EdT!

Feel-good fragrance
I am no longer young, but I am not so old that I would know Tabac Original from my childhood. But in the search for good and inexpensive fragrances I inevitably came across Tabac Original, even though I had resisted for a long time. Tabac Original doesn't really sound like an exciting fragrance now. More like the more masculine variant of 4711 Köllnisch water.
At some point it came to that. EdT tester and sprayed on. I was overwhelmed. This tart woody rustic strong warming scent has surprised and convinced me. For me an absolute feel-good fragrance. An in-the-poor-take scent for melancholy days. A scent for ME, not for the OTHERS.
Even if my wife associates the fragrance with her grandfather and I wear it less often and then away, but my absolute favorite fragrance.
After comparing EdT and EdC, I have to say EINDEUTIG for the EDT. Intense and strong as I like it. The EdC may be a bit lighter and closer to the original, but after a short time it was barely noticeable to me. Besides, I don't wear a scent for the "old times" sake, but because I like it.

A classic and loyal companion
I already like Tabac Original products, such as After Shave, shaving cream, shaving soap and deodorant spray. To the EdT.
Top note
Fresh note and a good, pleasant portion of pepper. Some polished wood Heart note
Stronger wood, light chamomile, rounded off with some lavender. A little polish, toward the leather.
Wood very present. A not too strong musk note is added. The fragrance remains spicy aromatic.
Conclusion
Spicy wood, freshly polished. Musk, lavender and floral notes are present, but more supportive. All in all I think the EdT is good. I wear this fragrance more on cooler days, tendency leisure time. Might last a little longer. After about 3-4 hours I am finished. I find the after shave a little better myself. My honest opinion.

EdT without corners and edges
Out of curiosity and because I am into older classic fragrances of the 80s and 90s, I ordered this fragrance as a blind purchase.
Actually, I could be sure that I've sniffed at it before, but I really didn't have any dew!
The fragrances sound promising...ok, 2-3 splashes applied, first impression extremely soapy and even stronger than Aigner No2.
But this sandalwood soap will wear off pretty quickly, thank God, because the penetrating sandalwood scent like Sandalwood gets on my nerves over time.
As said this soap explosion is very quickly over and then Tabac becomes very, very discreet!!!!
From time to time a few scent fragments scurry into my nose and you just smell clean and neat.
Especially people who don't like to wear scents would be well advised with this one.
It's not bad, but it's not what I expected.
For an oldie pretty weak in silage and durability.
Should actually be a unisex scent.

As others have stated, the EDT is considerably different from the EDC and After Shave.
