Breaking a lance.
I have to admit: I'm generally very skeptical about car brands as fragrance manufacturers. I simply lack the emotional connection.
However, while browsing in the local drugstore, an employee drew my attention to this fragrance, as I was looking for something fresh and already knew a lot of it.
I immediately expressed my skepticism - I had no previous associations with Mercedes in the perfume sector. The positive surprise was all the greater.
The opening is clearly the star here: balanced, fresh, aquatic - like a sea breeze blowing in your face. Neither too salty nor too lemony.
As far as freshies go, this is actually one of the best I know - whether from the niche or designer sector.
After some testing, it finally ended up in my collection.
Over time, the fragrance becomes noticeably sweeter, slightly berry and minimally spicy in the background.
The progression reminds me a little of Invictus Aqua - at least of this sweet, synthetic style. No longer as brilliant as the opening, but not unpleasant either.
It remains light and wearable overall.
The longevity is okay, but not outstanding. The sillage is also rather subtle.
There are certainly many alternatives in this style, but as a fresh kick for hot days it is definitely an option, if only because of the first 20-30 minutes.
