Musk,
Yes, that's right, my title here has a comma after the musk, because the fragrance is called in,
I can't explain the name, but with in, you get a wonderful scent with musk and amber notes.
The scent:
The fragrance has a strong alcoholic opening, which quickly settles down. Immediately after, the sweet musk comes in and creates a pleasant scent. A little later, the amber emerges in the background.
In the heart note, citrus notes like bergamot and lime are supposed to be noticeable. It is somewhat citrusy, but the sweet notes from the top note still dominate and overshadow the heart note, so the citrus notes radiate from the background.
In the base, it remains sweet with slightly spicy accents. I think it is a combination of musk, amber, and resin, along with probably dried fruits, which together create a wonderful and warm scent.
Longevity and sillage:
The longevity is about six hours, maybe a little more or less; that's always the problem with scents that don't project very strongly, which brings me to the sillage.
Unfortunately, the sillage is low, which is a shame for well-scented perfumes. This fragrance is neither room-filling nor will it leave a large scent trail. At least it is not too close to the body.
The bottle:
The bottle with the thick glass bottom looks more functional than beautiful. It is small, rectangular, and has a more than simple label (as if it were created with Paint...) with the name and brand of the fragrance on it. It also has a tall, gray cap. Everything is very unremarkable. That the manufacturer can do better is evident from the bottle-like flacons of some other fragrances from this brand.
in, (a strange fragrance name, isn't it?) from Miller et Bertaux, I hadn't known until now, or rather, I don't know Miller et Bertaux yet, but I really like this scent here. A sweet, very pleasant, and warm fragrance with light, fresh notes in between (which, however, quickly fade away), but unfortunately also with a really low sillage.
I would describe in as an all-rounder, even though it seems far too weak for winter. Nevertheless, it can be used as both an "office" scent and a "home comfort" scent, suitable for both women and men.
Despite the low sillage, I would recommend giving it a try.
My rating: 75%
