Hello and goodbye
I received this fragrance as a gift from my dear former colleague C., who is a huge Helene Fischer fan. She bought this perfume blind, as she already owned the others - but For you didn't appeal to her. She then asked me if I, as a "fragrance junkie," would like to have it. Now, I'm not a fragrance snob; my motto is "Anything goes as long as you like it," and so she brought me the bottle. It comes across as quite bulky; what exactly is that supposed to be? I guess it's a (ice) crystal. I find the shimmering, iridescent effect nicely done. Now to the scent: I smell apple and blossoms - not bad at all. A bit reminiscent of fabric softener, but not unpleasant. In the background, I sense something creamy. It's certainly more suited for the warm season. It doesn't develop on my skin, and the longevity is lacking: after half an hour, the scent is completely gone. Conclusion: I kept the bottle and can definitely imagine wearing the fragrance in everyday life again. However, I wouldn't buy it for myself.

My Heart Runs a Marathon
Well. I am a big fan of blind testing. Over the last two days, I extensively tested four different fragrances. Among them were Amouage, Kurkdjian, Jo Malone, and of course, Helene Fischer. I tested both on a cosmetic tissue and on my skin. For two days, I repeatedly checked the longevity, sillage, and personal perception. I have noticed several times that there is essentially nothing more authentic than conducting a test without knowing which brand it is. One's own bias is simply too great, no matter how much one tries to resist it. My last test provided me with the final proof. The fragrance that attracted me the most out of the four was consistently Helene Fischer. A gentle blend of laundry detergent, delicate sweetness, absolute everyday suitability, and a pleasant sillage without being overwhelming. The only thing that left me feeling negative was the only moderate longevity, which was significantly stronger with Amouage. For You! is gentle, professionally unobtrusive, with a clear and pure floral feeling. A fragrance that absolutely does not annoy, is not particularly innovative in my opinion, but still radiates a chic vibe that gives one the feeling of smelling elegant and appropriate for a variety of occasions.

I always find it a pity that certain fragrances are generally disparaged because of their name or price range. By now, nothing can convince me that these are truly objective evaluations; it is simply what is supposed to be liked. I too often fall for the packaging, the charm, or the great name of a fragrance, but I have read multiple times elsewhere that life is too short to talk oneself into a fragrance, I would like to add that it is also too short to talk down beautiful fragrances.

As a note, the other fragrances and my impressions were:
Amouage Sunshine for Woman (top H, very noticeably synthetic start for up to 2 hours)
MFK Baccarat Rouge 540 (weak S, otherwise nice, but too unspectacular for this price-performance ratio)
Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt (authentic but quite close to cologne, weak S)

Campino meets Barbie
Today was another hairdresser visit, and right next door is a DM. Feeling freshly styled makes a stroll even more enjoyable than with the old mop on my head. I was actually looking for the new scent from Essential Garden. Even though the series is a bit hard to find, I really like it. But the new scent isn't in yet.

At eye level, there was a kind of shimmering hand grenade. I can't describe this bottle any other way. Like the other two scents from Fischers Lenchen, it's a block of glass that is definitely not suitable for carrying in a handbag. It's just too unwieldy. There are no smaller "fists" either, and anyone who chooses this scent has a problem. More on that later.

Although I'm not a fan of the singing blonde, I tried the scent. It could have been that not only Lenchen has changed privately, but also her fragrances. I boldly went for it and sprayed Lenchen's new little fragrance on the back of my hand from a new tester.

And now began an adventure of a special kind. Everything that was supposed to be sniffed out from the pyramid above, I did not perceive. Instead, I smelled things that supposedly shouldn't be in the fragrance at all. An artificial creation like the singer, or was it because my nose isn't influenced by faces? I judge fragrances based on how I perceive them, not by the brand or the celebrity who is said to have designed them.

The beginning was like Campino. So like the candy from the 70s/80s and not like the singing colleague from the Toten Hosen. It started with the squeaky sweet little candies (bonbons) of orange and lemon. Just artificially sweet and way too much of it. Shortly after, I smelled caramel and not a trace of flowers. A little later, licorice joined in. These three scents appeared one after the other at intervals of 5-10 minutes. After that came vanilla and cotton candy. So this synthetic sweet scent of stuff in Barbie pink. I felt like I was on a time travel to our vacation spot in Schleswig Holstein. There’s always a cart at the market with all sorts of sweets. That’s how my hand smelled by now. After an hour, the spell was over and the scent faded away. No dry down. It was just gone. But I didn’t regret it.

Unfortunately, this is not for me. The longevity is almost reminiscent of the new scents from YR, which also fade quite quickly. Anyone who chooses this scent should be aware that it smells like a fairground and bees will find you irresistible in the summer. Reapplying with the hand grenade is also a bit tricky. The block doesn’t fit in any normal bag.

All in all, a scent that is flat, superficial, and sansoweich. If you're a fan of the singing lady, you might dream of being close to her. However, at 25-29 euros, it’s not a cheap dream. The predecessors were still around 40 euros expensive. There are better ones that are cheaper. A synthetic and artificial scent that promises more than it delivers. I think it's a candidate for the bargain bin.

If La Vie est belle isn't sweet and intense enough for you, Helene has the solution. Horrible stuff, only for die-hard fans!

Helene, that really wasn't necessary! Great packaging, but the super sweet scent is just too much for me. Do you still have the receipt?

Of course, there are better options. But for a small budget, you get a nice sweet-shampoo scent that doesn't hurt.

100% often intentionally rated poorly because of "Helene Fischer". It's not a wow scent, but a sweet everyday fragrance in a lovely bottle.

Hit me, but I find it warm, slightly sweet, soft, creamy, and a bit powdery. Nothing groundbreaking, but quite nice for everyday wear.

Smells like a sharper Lacoste pour Femme with apple shampoo. See you soon (like the other two) at the bargain table :)

If I had a colleague, whom I thankfully do not have, that I can't stand at all, this would be her perfume... traumatic.

Nope, not for me! It feels forced and not well done. It reminds me of a children's perfume from back in the day...

Beautiful bottle, but the scent fades away. Nice for young girls just starting with perfume. Would look great on the Hemnes vanity.
