Lightly
Arrakis is the story of a king who could not have children.
After many years, a splendid little girl was born, who, as she grew up, developed a visceral love for horses.
Unfortunately, a fall will lead her to no longer walk, but the king, full of love for her, will do everything to lift her up physically and mentally.
Arrakis is the strength guided by love, the attempt to find the light despite adversity.
And this is indeed a luminous fragrance: citrus fruits are predominant, woods give strength, like the one our king has.

Not a Tygar Dupe
This is simialr to Tygar, but the grapefruit is juicier here and lasts longer into the mid and dry down. Another comparison would be LV L'Immensite, but that one is spicier and more aquatic somehow. Tygar feels more fuzzy and less vibrant. I prefer the scent profile of Arrakis, Longevity is very good.

Garish, young, fruity smell
The opening is very nice, although more fruity than I expected, perhaps I was expecting something more elegant. It smells a little bit like this kind of soft candies. One hour later, the powdery effect begging to disappear, so it gets more fruity.

It's not a bad fragrance, what you see in the the notes listed is what you get, fruit, wood and a powdery effect, but it isn't elegant, it's garish, demanding,, young, for that effect I prefer Sauvage, and for a fruity-elegant I prefer Oud Rain.

It reminds me a designer-type scent, this is not necessarily bad, the price is good and it's a fun fragrance that people will like for sure, if you like that style the only downside would be the projection that is in the low side.

Wink of the sun
Arrakis is a fragrance like a gentle wink of the sun.
Warm rays that meet warm, tanned skin.
Unbelievably refreshing grapefruit, which spreads over the skin with ice cubes and is absorbed by it. Goosebumps arise. Extremely pleasant vacation vibes that echo through the area.

Light, creamy nuances of musk and sandalwood combine. A slightly plastic base, which is not at all disturbing. It simply fits. A hint of sweetness in the heart, which combines sweetly with the grapefruit. It has something, gives a real vacation feeling. Unfortunately, this is only short-lived. Because it just doesn't want to stay on me. It is as if absorbed by the skin, evaporated by the sunshine...

The price is also steep, there are definitely other, more attractive candidates where you get more out of it.
It doesn't hit the heart, but it's definitely enough for a brief wink of sunshine in this still rainy June in Salzburg!

If you like Tygar from Bvulgari, and you want a more rational price for that DNA, check this one

Simple, cloying. Grapefruit, Iso E and ambroxan. Not worth the price. I can make this one myself at home for 20x less it's retail price.

Arrakis is a simple perfume. The grapefruit give it freshness, perfectly blended with a woody note and the ambroxan. Good sillage/longevity.
