wow effect
A fragrance that triggers the so-called wow effect for me. As soon as the first spray has settled on the skin, a wall of tar pushes into the nose, but it only lasts briefly before transforming into a sweetness that is so very pleasant and sets the olfactory rhythm in this bouquet of the fragrance pyramid. Light nuances of tobacco and tea gently join in. But then again, this flattering sweet scent of oud. This Oud Accord & Gold is so variable with its finely balanced nuances in the top, heart, and base notes, and for me, it is a successful fragrance and thus a clear recommendation for purchase.

You won't get more fragrance for 50€!!!
Thanks to the turbo-sharing from JoHannes, I had the pleasure of trying this fragrance. Initially skeptical about whether it was a good choice, as our ideas of Oud usually differ a bit, but anyone who owns/wears Fars must be a gourmet and an aesthetic;-)!
I can reassure everyone, there are no creaks here, I can't spot a cow or a camel either;-)!
Instead, there is a magnificent and very unusual scent tapestry, which I certainly did not expect from the "bad lifestyle brand for high earners"! At the beginning, I am greeted by woody Oud or oud-like wood similar to Accord Oud by Byredo, more wood than Oud... it briefly reminds me of the top note of Oud Wood, just significantly less sweet! Smoky, dark streaks emerge... much more subdued than in Black by CdG and not so BBQ-like... so this is truly enchanting!!!! Herbal-green-resinous it continues, this has real "bite"... extremely spicy, slightly sharp... nutmeg, myrrh, incense... as if the three wise men had walked through the bathroom. Above this hovers a bitter-unsweet tea note, dry... like black tea with milk... and on the other hand, there is a hint, but really just a hint of sweetness... could well be from the myrrh... like a spoonful of honey in black tea! On the other hand, I am wearing Envol in parallel... and yes, it is definitely honey, a touch sweeter than Cartier. It all comes across as "very British" and at the same time oriental... fascinating. It's as if Atkinson or Floris had entered into a joint venture with AJ Arabia... just brilliant;-)! Nevertheless, the fragrance radiates something warm, in the scent description from Ludwig Beck, they even mentioned something about a hot summer day... I have no idea what they mean, perhaps the dryness of the fragrance reminds one of hot stone in the sun... because somehow it also smells a bit mineral.
The longer I wear the fragrance, the more it gains volume, expands, becomes rounder... but it never loses its bite... it becomes softer... gently settles on the skin... but it will never be a cutesy body lotion scent... it's something for adults... certainly not for every day, but when it is, it's truly a highlight... and this whole fragrance experience is available for an amazing 49€... unbelievable!
The longevity is very good for me, it lasts easily for 5-6 hours, the sillage is not to be underestimated... but it calms down after 1 hour! For me, it's a unisex fragrance, but I see it more on men; strong women or women with mustaches are well suited here;-)!

Maybe the most European of all oud fragrances. And the experiment has succeeded, perhaps precisely because of united contrasts: green, sweet, bright.

Such a beautiful, spicy tea-myrrh-tobacco scent, lightly sweetened with honey. Unfortunately, a rubbery oud note dampens my mood.

Friendly oriental spices with woody notes, smoky-steaming tea with a hint of honey sweetness. Unfortunately, the oud got lost in it;-)

Spicy dark tea and tobacco scent with myrrh and wonderfully unsweet, not sticky honey. Also suitable for those who don't like oud. Beautiful!

Lightly smoky winter tea scent with honey. Complex, cozy, airy, not sweet, unisex, easy to wear. Very well made. Nice packaging. Suitable for Christmas gifts.

Black tea with many spices and smoky tobacco.
Dark, warm, soothing, and slightly balsamic.
Rather masculine.
