Lady Tubereuse Moresque 2020

as a big tuberose fan, i can't help myself but try every tuberose-themed perfume i stumble upon. this one is no difference. the tuberose here is well rounded, creamy and very feminine. interestingly it seems kind of chypre. the white petals are a bit woozy but the spin is in the positive direction - there's an elegant, carnal and animalic note that keeps me sniffing. i could easily wear it every day.

A gorgeous new perfume by the house of Moresque.

I've already bought Seta and Ubar and I really want a bottle of Lady Tubereuse as well.
This is a surprising new take on tubereuse; the sweetness of the fruity notes, vanilla and tubereuse is tempered by angelica and vetiver.
Although its character is very different from my other two Moresque's, Seta being the spicy oriental and Ubar the more aromatic oriental, I can detect a certain underlying signature of warmth and dustiness.

It all started with a sharing that I organized because a YouTuber had called it the most beautiful tuberose fragrance.
I had no idea what to expect. I was just curious about "the most beautiful one."

When I start to decant the fragrance, I first spray it on my left and right inner elbows. By the time I'm done (it takes me about 3 hours for an average sharing), I usually know whether I will keep the bottle or offer it to the sharing team for sale with a right of first refusal.

In this case, it was quite simple …

The fragrance
For me, tuberose is the epitome of creaminess. Often it comes off a bit floral and cloying.
I think this is also the case here.
Ginger can also be detected.
In the first 30 minutes, I find it nice, but not extraordinary.
Only afterwards, in combination with lily and ylang-ylang, does it become "the special tuberose fragrance" for me. Vanilla, musk, and resins provide the base.
This fragrance is incredibly easy to wear. Actually, for any time of year and day up to 28 degrees. For warmer temperatures, I would prefer a freshie.

Longevity/Sillage
For this fragrance, I still receive compliments even after wearing it for 8 hours, although I believe the sillage is not exceptionally strong (a good average). If I spray it on in the evening for going out, I can still catch a whiff of it in the morning when I wake up.

Bottle
I also find the bottle exceptionally beautiful. The gold gives it elegance, and the pattern promises a hint of the Orient. The sprayer sprays finely.
What I also like: you can see how much content is left in the bottle.

All in all, a feminine, enchanting tuberose fragrance that definitely enhances my collection (it stands in the front row) and one that I reach for gladly and often.

Don't you know that we prefer your swelling uh... mh... cheeks more than propriety, restraint, and prudery?
Your dress is discreet, but beige does not suit you, Dearest... we much prefer to see you in sumptuous lilac silk.
No, Lady Tubereuse, you are too disguised for me. I miss your magnificent, slightly intrusive sensuality.
