Fresh, oh my!
I bought this blindly some ten years ago and it did not go with my skin then, so I swapped it with Sun Moon Stars. I kept a decant, though, because I thought that maybe one day I would give it a try. Luckily…
The top notes among others states “fresh notes” - it could not be closer to the truth. It is the first impression I get when I spray it on. It is not actually citric, nor fruity but somewhere in between or not at all. This scent is playing tricks with my nose because I keep getting a subtle ginger feeling - and there is no ginger in it. A very subtle talcum note is hidden there as well.
Half an hour later it becomes more flowery. Especially heliotrope and violet come to my nose. It is a beautiful and soothing mix, really delicate. And then… it disappears! Not much more than two hours all in all. So disappointing.
The bottle is not my thing. I am not a huge fan of things such as t-shirts, bottles or bags telling me what or how to think or feel. A clean white bottle would have done greatly.
