It's wonderful! It surprised me very pleasantly!
YES, finally again, YES! That's right YES! It's wonderful! It surprised me very pleasantly! I expected it to be sweeter and luckily, it's perfectly sweet; its creators knew when and where to stop. Its opening is impeccable. It's very well blended. It can be worn anytime and anywhere without disturbing anyone. I have a miniature of it. The bottle is nice. However, I would have chosen a different design that would make it clear that it's not a really frivolous perfume. The price is good. I highly recommend it to all girls and women! I don't think you'll go wrong if you blindly buy it for yourself or for someone you love. Rating: 9.5/10

Fuzzy raspberry hard candy
Very sweet, mostly raspberry flavored (in a hard candy kind of way). Very girlish. The performance is unfortunate, but the flavor profile is actually quite cute, and less obnoxious than I feared it would be when I first sprayed it. Didn't even get a headache :)

As always, I did one gentle spray per person. The initial blast was aggressively sweet, but settled down so quickly that I started worrying that I might've went nose blind. Nope, it just settled very close to the skin and didn't project much going forward. Funnily enough, it smelled way better on my partner. His body runs warmer than mine, so on his skin it melded into a smooth honeyed raspberry dessert.

I got the, uh, chalky end of the stick? Powdery? No, that doesn't sound right.
I don't know the language to properly explain it in perfume terms, but imagine putting your face into one of those fuzzy polyester blanket scarves and smelling raspberry flavored hard candy through the fabric. That's kind of how I felt. The texture of the smell was very 3D, but in an unpleasant way. Does that make any sense? Anyway, didn't like that.

The smell got very faint in under 2 hours, and by hour 3 all upper notes were gone from both of us. Once the base was the only thing left it actually became more enjoyable on me. A very gentle fluffy vanilla. The lonely honey flavor on my husband felt too sharp and one-dimensional with the raspberry gone.

Far from the worst thing I've tried, pretty interesting in some ways, but didn't leave a lasting impression. As far as sweet perfumes go, I guess it was okay, but not something I personally am interested in ever wearing again.

Raspberry yuzu soda
Nina Ricci fragrances are a mixed bag for me. With these Nina flankers, you never know if you get a generic snoozefest of a fragrance or something really pretty. This one is really pretty!
Nina Illusion is a super sparkly, fizzy scent with a lovely fruity blend of zesty, tart yuzu and sweet raspberry. Both notes are really well-defined and easy to identify here, which I prefer over a general fruit salad scent. To me this feels like an artisanal soda or sherbet, sugary and with a carbonated texture.
Due to the sweetness and the vanilla base it feels cute and girly, not overly sour or harsh. The orange blossom is subtle, but adds a touch of clean freshness.
All in all it's a very summery scent.

To me this has a similar vibe to Byredo Sundazed and, to a lesser extent, Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique. Vibe, not scent, I don't mean it's a dupe for either! Just that the fizzy, sweetened citrus notes give me a similar feeling. Nina Illusion is a bit more middle-of-the-road, which makes sense for a mainstream designer scent. In return you get a lower price and a really cute bottle.

I noticed that I liked the drydown much more when I tested this on my skin than on a paper blotter. It turns a bit sharp on paper, so don't let that deter you and just try it on yourself to see if you feel the same.

Pros: Fruity, cheerful, uncomplicated, no hair care associations
Cons: boring, no unique feature, smelled it a thousand times already

Fruity orange blossom, it's zesty and summery. Acid meets sweetness, could definitely be an Escada cocktail.
