Vanilla Dream

Vanille de Sambava really surprised me. Instead of a heavy dessert vanilla, it starts fruity and fresh with apple and coconut. Then it becomes creamy-spicy with cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hint of chocolate. In the base, vanilla, tonka bean, and rum come through warm and elegant. It lasts easily 6 hours, even longer on clothing. For me, it's a noble, not too sweet vanilla - perfect for autumn and winter.

(For me) The most beautiful vanilla

At the beginning, a wonderful, fruity, slightly powdery vanilla emerges right away. I can also clearly perceive the coconut. The Vanille de Sambava becomes creamier and powderier over time and is a successful and beautiful scent from start to finish that took my breath away (in a positive way). For me, it is currently the most beautiful vanilla fragrance I have come across. Since I liked the Vanille de Sambava so much, I had to get "Vanilla Powder | Matière Première" as well, and what can I say... Vanilla Powder is a bit woodier and powderier, and it also seems more synthetic compared to the Sambava. In my opinion, it is also longer-lasting and has a stronger scent trail that it leaves behind. I love both fragrances and find that they are wearable all year round. In summer, of course, in a lower dosage. I enjoy vanilla in fragrances with caution nowadays, but here I must say, everything is just right. Definitely worth a try.
Both fragrances can also be found at "humane prices" when there are discounts. I will definitely get a backup of both fragrances next year if the price is right.

I know this scent from somewhere

When the Vanille de Sambava arrived today, I was very curious about how it would smell.
So I opened it right away and sprayed it..
Hmm, I know this scent from somewhere. It took me a while to remember, but then I had it; for me, the scent strongly resembles Vanilla Powder by Matiere Premiere.
I have to say, though, that I like the Vanille de Sambava much better; it’s not as synthetic, but softer and fluffier.
In my opinion, it also works well in spring and summer.
