A quiet day by the sea
Osmarine is like a calm day at the sea: It is windless, the sea quite calm, gives its maritime notes quite relaxed to the air. The sky is overcast, it is warm, just before sultry, but no danger of thunderstorms, possibly a light summer rain comes. The flowers exude restrained sweetness. The fruit ice cream tastes good.

The scent is rather close to the body and lasts a few hours. Well wearable, no fuss, no citrusy stormy greeting. Suitable for all occasions

Tea break during a bike tour
As is well known, I have a very disturbed relationship with the Atlantic Ocean: the constant wind damages my health and so a medical "Atlantic ban" was issued.
You shouldn't have: Who volunteers to go into areas that are not good for them?

Even with the strong maritime scents I always ask the question I first asked here at "Olympéa": "Do I like you or do I not like you?"
And yet my curiosity always lets me follow the scent path of temptation: now it is "Osmarine" by Officina delle Essence, which tries to lure me into windy, sunny and fragrant fields and to convince me of itself.

"Osmarine" tells me about a bicycle tour on one of the impressive cliff paths in Cornwall: Mrs Pilcher sends her greetings once again - I hereby send my greetings back!
The cycle paths there, according to what I saw in a TV documentary (yes, I see something like that!), are well maintained and offer impressive views of the sea, rocks and small sandy beaches - and it is very windy there!
The sea is moving and lets white foam horses ride on its wave crests. They both seem to enjoy it; you can almost hear them cheering!
A very lively breeze rustles playfully in the high ruffled palm trees; the tall grass, interspersed with robust plants, dances in the wind.
It is a swing out of habit: in motion is everything here!
The seagulls refine this vital dance; they scream with pleasure and always keep an eye on whether there is a bite for them - it could be! The air is filled with the living sea: salt, minerals, seaweed and all that the wind brings with it.

But even the most leisurely bike tour requires a rest. And now, in the opinion of "Osmarine", the time has come A picnic blanket, much used and beloved, is spread out and weighed down in knowledge of the wind on all four corners: the basket with the small snack is placed on one of them.
A large thermos flask contains aromatic osmanthus tea; this tea with the special scent, which is obtained from flowers of tea hybrids that bloom only one night.
Its taste is somewhat special, always a bit dull and strange. I like him a lot! A large bowl full of juicy raspberries and some sun-ripened sweet oranges are unpacked, thus weighing down the blanket that keeps rearing in the wind.
The mugs, full of still hot tea, small bowls with a hint of bergamot scented raspberries, meanwhile covered with a yellow-white vanilla cream cap, smell promisingly and mix with the spicy wind from the Atlantic Ocean to an invigorating fruity fresh melange.
Now the sweet oranges have also been peeled and release their fruit sweetness generously.
Hair and clothes flutter in the wind; we are here in Cornwall, the sun is shining and light white clouds are aimlessly on their eternal journey to nowhere.
A large bouquet of white jasmine, picked in a village, lies almost forgotten on the edge of the ceiling: the ripe, still tart scent of this white-flowering plant gives this maritime impression a special note.
"Osmarine" is fruity and fresh, yet slightly spicy; the proximity of the Atlantic Ocean has been dominant from the beginning.
But so that this fragrance is not immediately blown away by the wind, clever fragrance craftsmen added well measured tins of musk and the light earthiness of patchouli.
So "Osmarine" not only paints sunny green spice directly on the Atlantic Ocean, but also connects this very airy aromatic spirit with the earth.

For every lover of the Atlantic coast and the very special spice of water, sun, wind and life, "Osmarine" is certainly a pleasant change from the large circle of his siblings.
Salt on the skin, spicy tea aroma, fruit and sensual bottom: what more could you want?

I find this fragrance entertaining, but it is also too restless for me - too "windy"!
His strong vitality runs over me a bit and reminds me why I should stay away from this area.
For this airy swirl of fragrance, "Osmarine" is relatively long-lived; leaves me with only slightly aromatic salt to finish off.

So I thank "Osmarine" for this nice trip to the coast of Cornwall with the vivid impressions.
But this bottling is allowed to travel further and may find someone who appreciates the wide embrace of the ocean more than I can.
Farewell, Osmarine!

Misunderstanding about a USB stick
Recently our daughter (13) went to dm to print some photos. She reported outraged: "There were some guys standing around looking funny when I arrived with the USB stick. Did they think I couldn't?" We had trouble staying serious and explained to the visibly maturing young woman that the interest of the pubescent males was hardly likely to have been in questions of IT competence
Osmarine' behaves similarly innocent and naïve and in turn has a more randomly stumbled, adult part.

A suncream-impregnated sea breeze, jasmine breathed, the indolent part so delicate that it reminds more of gum (and that's not an allusion to the first heel plus two, three years!), while he opens his eyes trustingly. A dainty candy citrus fruit dances up and soon opens a small round dance with aqueous bergamot and Haribo peaches.

Sounds cute, even harmless. It is, in the end. But airy, fruity and fresh! There can be no doubt that 'Osmarine' does not want to be a 'big one', but a friendly companion. It's precisely this jasmine who plinked at the front that makes sure that the almost Disney-like comical performance doesn't look silly, although in the course of its cryptic work it does lift the scent out of the little girl level.

This has turned out quite well, but for me the most exciting question is to what extent the aquatics will be punished with a brackish water penalty to the rear. But for the time being, the fragrance glides unobtrusively through the morning in a maritime, technical, decent floral way.

And the afternoon knows also, well, certainly not to inspire, but to convince in a solid way at least halfway. The now rather flowery aura is accompanied by a creamy vanilla. A light touch of plastic - assuming an "in dubio pro..." - resumes the rubber idea from above. At the same time possible brackish approaches are intercepted, such could be imagined at most directly on the skin.

I thank Garcon for the rehearsal.

Interesting offering for the spring summer. I like the soft aquatic touch added to the Osmanthus. Price point of this range is really good.
