Sugared orchid
Bought it out of curiosity and to have the entire Love Potion collection, because I'm obsessive like this. I feel orchid and heliotrope, and a bit of ylang-ylang, but overall, it is mostly sweeeeet. Very. Like, sticky sweet. Personally, I love it, but I see how it can bee too much for some. Also, absolutely delicious and edible, like a macaron or candy cane, but more sophisticated.
This is a cute pick-me-up scent in a style of Demeter’s dessert-themed perfumes. I was wary about the honey note – not a fan of the real thing, but I kept sniffing my wrists the whole day and it was so enjoyable!
I use it on its own when I work from home just to improve my mood. However, when I go out I pair it with Love Potion Secrets – they play nicely together and I get compliments from friends who hug me.
Staying power is pretty decent for a body mist, on par with many EDTs. I also can smell it on my hair, as I move around and turn my head. Works lovely in any weather for me.
