I can’t hear you, Muse!
Usually, I like Oriflame’s fragrances. A lot of them are very close to popular scents from popular houses but that could be a coincidence ()
Muse is one of the disappointments, though.
The box is ridiculously huge and the bottle design looks great on photos but very plastic and cheap in the real world. The bottle is a mix between a flower and a mushroom. Supposedly romantic? The nice colour does not get any credit from the design.
The scent is an anonymous mix of… well, anonymous notes. It starts out very citric and after a few minutes something floral occurs. The notes say lilac, rose and violet. It could be. It could be something else. Gone in a matter of 2 hours with a bit of musk.
In Oriflame’s defense I shall say that it could be my skin chemistry that does not seem to work with Muse. But that is how the world works.
A muse is the voice that inspires you to make great art - this Muse speaks too low.
