Wait for it!
Oriflame has always impressed me with their gorgeous scents at fair prices. I adore Ispahan, I love Amber Elixir Night and I find a lot of the other scent wearable for lots of occasions. Precious is the newest member of my own Oriflame collection and I can easily recommend this as well.
It starts out a bit sharp and actually a bit to the masculine side. I am not totally sure if it is the ginger combined with the pear that gives me this impression… well, there it is. But then after half an hour the fragrance shows its true face: Jasmine in all its glory. And what a wonderful, smooth and slightly fruity kind, that is. It is really worth waiting for. The base is smooth and warm and appears fully after two to three hours. There are sparkles of amber and myrrh in the heart but not consistently.
So if you can live with the first thirty minutes that are, to me at least, a bit harsh and masculine, you will soon find your way to the heart of this beauty and dive into the lovely flower. Maybe you actually like the beginning and then I am just talking nonsense.
The bottle reminds me of Dolce Vita by Dior. Shaped like a ball of faceted glass it feels so good in my hand. The top, however, is designed in a way that makes it a bit tricky to spray.
