A Retro Gourmand
So, I have the honor of writing the first review of this fragrance again. Phew, striking in the opening, I perceive blackcurrant, Jaffa cake, and plenty of peony. Wow, I thought, it’s like a scent from the 90s. However, it flattens out and heads towards "Good Girl (Eau de Parfum) | Carolina Herrera," yet for me, due to the dark chocolate and berries, it leans more towards "Black XS for Her (Eau de Toilette) | Rabanne." So don’t be put off by the bold opening; when the fragrance settles, it’s actually a lovely rounded chocolate/fruit/rose gourmand. Base notes can also be discerned. They say cheapies need to be reapplied more often! No and again, no! Please don’t. The only annoying thing is the silly cap! It reminds me of Halloween decorations! Like a witch's pointy hat, haha! I also find it super hard to remove; I don’t know if it’s because I just applied hand cream or if that’s just how the manufacturer intended it. Definitely a loud fragrance, better suited for cooler days.
