Bad value for money
Following the fashion Oriflame also wanted to have its own Aventus. Famous names were hired to create the fragrance, a rather pompous promotion was created in the catalogs and the Signature series was released for her and for him in the recently fashionable perfume concentration, necessarily at a high price to give the impression of a luxurious, expensive product. Signature for women can be considered a success, the women's version smells good, interesting and long enough. However, the men's edition turned out to be a big disappointment. When introducing this series, the previous men's fragrance already available in the company under the name Signature was canceled. It's a pity because it was a very decent fragrance, unlike the new signature version for men.
The new Signature is not a clone of Aventus, nor is it very similar to it because it does not contain either pineapple or smoky birch, but from the very first moments you can feel that the iconic Creed brand was an inspiration for Oriflame.
The Aventus atmosphere was achieved here by a clever combination of citrus fruits and apples. This climate is, of course, very far from the quality of Aventus, but maple collectors might like it if only they tried to use better quality ingredients. You can feel that this is a fragrance with low-end synthetics.
The beginning is very fresh, citrusy, slightly peppery, and the mentioned apple quickly comes into play. When the synthetic and sharp citrus opening fades a bit, a more pleasant duo of sage and geranium appears for me, it becomes more aromatic and herbal, still very fresh. Then comes cedar and a lot of ambroxan.
A large dose of ambroxan enriches the Aventus atmosphere with a bit of the even more hackneyed atmosphere of Dior's Sauvage or similar ambroxan blue fragrances.
The whole thing, as I have already mentioned, is unfortunately very synthetic.
Another complaint is the parameters - apparently it is a perfume-like scent, which is apparently just a marketing trick. Durability is very average. The scent disappears from the skin after 5 hours, projection close to the skin.
The bottle looks nice in this frame, but it is inconvenient to use, and I don't see any use for this frame in a photo.
I will emphasize, however, that the woody ending of the composition is quite good and saves my overall impression a bit, which is why I do not rate Signature that badly, but price is too expensive.
