A very pretty floral that compares with Chanels
A first cloud of pretty aldehydic blossom like florals of a soft and fresh nature like tree blossoms. A sharpish green note reminding one of new unfurling buds of the lime tree and green grass. This is like a fresh summers morning after the rain. All the flowers and the plants are tumbling over themselves to be the first to be smelled. Some have compared this to the Chanels aldehydic start and it does bear many similarities. I would say this wasn't as well blended as a Chanel but this garden gathers itself together and presents itself in fairly good order. This gardener forgot to tidy up many of the loose stems and the compost heap is just about present in a nice grounding way. There is an almost spicy note like carnations. The bees and a trace of honey are present as a sweetener. As a fresh and complete floral, this stands its ground as a nice perfume. If it ranks with Chanel, then that is a comparison worth having in my book. I quite like the little raw differences as a quirky slant. Why smell quite the same as everyone else? This is very pretty and a little bit different.

because I love noble soaps and morning walks
Perhaps that is the reason why I love to lose myself in fragrances that remind me of these: the sensuality of the foam, the cozy sinking into it, and its scent!

Roberto Capucci's “Parce Que!” is such a fragrant delight; a walk through fresh green, kissed by dew, enjoying the first warm rays of sunshine and greeting the day.
The green of a meadow of grass and herbs, many spicy “weeds” that also make a fresh salad, tickling under bare feet and vibrating slightly with every step, buzzing with insects and where these fragile flowers bloom in clear colors.
The green from foliage, which robustly carries a memory of tree and wood, provides shade and plays beautiful shadow games with the sun, where citrus fruits ripen and enliven this impression with their aromatic presence.
A green that is alive, that radiates and becomes even more luminous and multifaceted through aldehydes.
Underneath, patchouli spreads in earthy heaviness, still moist from the night, stretching and extending, exhaling its very special aromas and a hint of vetiver, impregnating the air with it!
Here, the blooming jasmine also awakens, not yet in its intoxicating, sometimes almost overwhelming sensuality, but still delicately floral in its innocent white dress, sending fragrant veils into the sunny morning.
All of this is this fragrant green, with its fine soapy harmonious sound, surrounding me like fine foam and inviting me to sink in and linger:
On a green meadow!

“Parce Que!” is all of that!
A stylishly pleasing delight for the senses that does not hide the time of its appearance (1963) and its Italian origin, thus revealing the special magic of a bygone era that we have experienced and that re-emerges with every spray, now nostalgically veiled!
How beautiful it is!

Desirable or Not?
A few years ago, I had a few drops of this fragrance, a truly special scent experience, as I remember, since then I've been longing for it and want to experience it again, because of course the drops were soon used up.

Now I hold a truly large bottle in my hands (about 100 ml) and wonder, what fascinated me about this scent back then? Was it so desirable because I had so little of it? Was I chasing it because it was hard to get?
Could it be that the greed associated with it pushed me to want it again?
Again and again, more and more, A LOT?

Now I have it and I don't know, do I like it now or not really anymore?
I am in a dilemma and have tested it multiple times. Morning, noon, evening, night, it somehow always smells the same and somehow always monotonous.
Could it be that the scent has already gone off? But no, everything looks wonderful, the color of the liquid is clear and light gold, the bottle is not damaged, everything is fine, or is it not?

I've never had so many questions about a fragrance before. Either I like it or I don't. But with this one, I'm not sure.

What does it actually smell like?

There are hints of citrus but then something very tannic-green follows, it doesn't smell like in the woods, but like something slightly burnt, yet still woody, just like something charred. It's strange that I didn't notice that back then. It must be vetiver, which sometimes comes across terribly to me, and this is another case of that.

It should also smell a bit floral, since jasmine is listed, and that's really not easy to "over-smell." But strangely, I don't notice any of that, patchouli has also hidden away, there's hardly any floral scent at all. What's wrong with my nose? Have I overstrained it lately? Maybe I should take a break from scents, that would be worth considering? Hm

But no, I can't stick to that anyway, so I'll just leave it as it is.
Well, my conclusion is: I have none. I'm totally indecisive about whether I should test it further, on another day at another hour.

Many questions remain open here, but - I will stay on it - and will report back if necessary.

Because! ... she is a woman
She is visiting her parents in the suburb of Dijon. It is still very early, but the first ray of sunshine, still carried by the cool morning breeze, tickles her nose and wakes her up. She had almost forgotten how beautiful the green meadow in front of the house is. Last night there had been a summer thunderstorm, and the short blades of grass sparkle with water droplets and exude a bitter and pure, green scent. This mingles with the aromas from the orchard. Her mother has been awake for a long time. She has already been in the garden and picked a bouquet for her daughter with jasmine, iris, and osmanthus, and she has not forgotten their beloved tuberose. On the kitchen table sits her favorite orange cake, soaked with Crême de Cassis. How often had she dreamed of these summer aromas! She studied medicine in Paris and earned the money for her studies herself. Of course, her mother wants to know how her life in the big city is going. Many colorful images crowd her mind. In May, the students occupied the Sorbonne. Their most important maxim was: "It is forbidden to forbid." The unions had sought contact with them, and that’s how she met a young man. He called himself Cerf, surely a pseudonym, but she wasn’t interested in his real name either. The police eventually cleared the Sorbonne, and she and the others who had been involved were expelled. The factory where Cerf had worked was closed, and she spent her days with him in his small attic, where he had also set up a restoration workshop for himself. The exotic aromas of the finest polishes and stains mingled with the intoxicating sweet scent of his love-warmed skin. Their whole life lay ahead of them, full of hope, adventure, and love. All of this she wanted and could not tell her mother. She only said that she had recently bought a sinfully expensive perfume for herself. Its price was far too high for her means, but the pleasure of wearing it was worth it. Her mother raised her eyebrows in disbelief, "Why?" - "Because!" she hesitated briefly, "I am a woman."

Delicate soapy, softly woody, hazy floral, subtly green-earthy, hint of powder, a bit warming. Gets quickly absorbed by my skin.

A dream scent, it smells like heaven. Green-floral! Too bad it’s no longer available. I wish I had more, I only have a few drops ;)
