My Dreams Fly into Your Arms
You are warm. Comforting like a gentle, warming blanket, you cover me, allowing me to close the day and begin the night.
You are sunny. You have absorbed the glow of an entire day and gradually release it, even into the deepest night.
You shine joyfully in my face.
You are alive. You sprout slowly at first, then confidently. Your buds burst open. You bloom in colors that we do not know. Colors of the night that can only exist in dreams.
Enlivened, you dance through the room. You invigorate the ether, sweep the universe along, delight the dream beings. And they dance along, picking up your rhythm and carrying it out into the world.
You are completely yourself, you do not pretend. You have never done so. You do what you love most, not thinking about what others might think.
In the drought, you are persistent. Eagerly, you await the next rain. It will come, you are completely sure of that. And if it is not rain, then warm snow that will settle on your magnificent blooms.
You are very close to me. Always ready for a hug when needed. Always granting space.
You are not of this world. A dream being through and through. Together we traverse long-forgotten episodes, scenes from distant lands and long-past times wander into my mind.
I cannot help but reflect back, with closed eyes deep into the dark space.
And in the morning, only the memory remains.
Scent, Longevity, Sillage:
I partly do not know exactly what I am smelling here, but it is magical, unknown. I smell most distinctly ethereal and completely atheistic incense. And a light, carefree animalic note like I have rarely experienced. And flowers from another world. I perceive a completely cliché-free Ylang-Ylang subtly for a long time, distinctly a non-stuffy garden carnation and a gentle geranium, but also florals that have not come under my nose before and I cannot identify. A slightly waxy note runs through. A slight creaminess from tonka bean and unsweetened vanilla comes through, rounding it off, but also allowing the scent to merge with the skin in a very special way.
On the skin, Albédo lasts about 10 hours, on clothing correspondingly longer. Towards the end, the scent becomes creamier, but otherwise hardly shows any development. The sillage is average; after 4-6 hours, the scent becomes closer to the skin, but with movement, it can always be perceived again, and the dreaming begins anew...
