When the imagination is more fun..
"Magnolan" obviously smells like magnolia. So far, so obvious. Hm - what does "Osyrol" smell like?
A less corny trace leads me (like a previous speaker) via Internet search to a drug for the treatment of water retention in the body. And such with a Maritimling, who is not only according to the classification here, but also actually "fresh-aquatic"! Mr. Wilhelm may have a very subtle sense of humor, I think.
But at the click of a mouse, Parfumo reveals a sober explanation in an exemplary manner. Osyrol" is an artificial sandalwood fragrance with some pipapo around it. Too bad, I found the other thought more funny.
A "fresh-aquatic" fragrance with information like from the chemistry kit - so it's probably about bringing this freshness stable over time. And that's the impression that comes to mind. The basic maritime orientation is flanked and partly supported by several secondary aromas, for which a simple list is best suited:
a) A limonady-flowery (magnolia!) breeze, tart rather than flowery; it rises first after spraying from an amazingly long nothing. In the process, the bitter-grey florality, which curves around the sourpuss, reminds me most of the cool flower building block from Il Profvmo's 'Musc Bleu' (no twin!)
b) Later, a touch of pungent sweetness, which almost equilibrates the pyramidally expected Cremig part, puzzles me towards Tonka.
c) A rough base, at times mushy-woody, grazing the spicy; it provides the usual wood contribution for such fragrances.
And with the latter, we are immediately at the big plus of the present candidate: He does not become brackish. Therefore, in my opinion, the (presumed) request has been successfully implemented, because the sea-and-more-cocktail accompanies me solidly and perseveringly into the evening. For friends of this fragrance 'Blue' is worth a recommendation.
I thank Garcon for the rehearsal
