It smells like a damp-green subject here
The latest offshoot of the white line. At the start, spicy notes blend with green accords. The fragrance leans towards the somewhat "juicier" side, without being citrusy or overtly fruity at all. I do not detect herbal bitterness. Instead, there is a spiciness at first that has distant associations with Epic Man, which then takes a rather sharp turn towards Green Irish Tweed after a few minutes on the second sniff. Creed's mossiness is not achieved, nor is the synthetic quality of Cool Water. In the background, soft rain or fog accords trickle in like with Wet Stone. As it develops, the spicy notes fade, and in the end, a skin-close wood note remains, which then reminds me a bit of Rocky Mountain Woods with a bit more humidity. Here, I actually envision an overcast mountain with diverse green vegetation. So the name is not completely off the mark.

In summary, is this a potpourri of familiar scents? In a way, yes. While Wet Stone and especially White Hinoki (!) impress with a rich touch of uniqueness, Himalayan Wood sticks more to well-trodden paths but blends them into an absolutely charming overall work. The fragrance is natural, modest, and yet has a rather interesting progression. It manages to be both excellently wearable and a bit quirky at the same time, without coming across as a rebellious statement piece.

Personally, I now really enjoy such all-day wearers with an individual touch, as I actually get to wear them, unlike Ford's Atomizers. The longevity is good, as is typical for Amouroud, while the sillage is rather weak. Oud is, as is also customary, not even visible under an electron microscope despite the name. Craftsmanship-wise, it is definitely a very well-made, pleasant companion.

Reminds me of a niche y edp intense. Add some add some crisp cold greens and wood to that DNA: Voila.
