Brilliant challenge for the nose.... ACCEPTED!
And diving into swirling eddies of smoke and wood and.... now I need a moment. In the meantime, I thank the sample donor (Frank, you did an AMAZING job!!)
Out come the "rodents!" And they are partially covered by the earth of patchouli. The hay from the nearby meadow smells, while spices are sold at a bazaar. Cardamom, clove, coriander, and a few more are exchanged for some shy flowers from the stall next door, just like the finest balsams are traded for the best woods.
Now I feel like I am standing in the middle of a forest, among ancient cedars and cypresses. But I am not deterred so far. I KNOW that the mown June meadow is not far away. And neither is the spice market. Time and again, a different scent flag wafts in, settling in my nose. As soon as it arrives, it is gently veiled, and another aroma sneaks in. Are there not also roses in play?
Before I am somewhat sure here, it seems that incense and vanilla want to compete in fragrance.
But they are fair enough not to want to completely overshadow the other pleasant scents.
Each "group" seems to float in the foreground at times and in the background at others. Everything forms a very mysterious harmony, whose "background hum" seems to become even more magical and mystical. It could be that I need to expand or supplement this "scent report" upon retesting. Or when the fragrance has further developed..... I love it, already!!
