A great fragrance under the radar

25 Indochine is generally a relatively unknown fragrance, which is a real shame. This fragrance can do a lot and is also very well received on the outside.
An oriental-inspired fragrance that is spicy-sweet with resinous-woody elements.

Admittedly, 25 Indochine reminds me of some other fragrance after a few minutes.
I've been thinking about it for ages and so far I'm not sure.
I think it was the Nishane Ani and also the Drowning Vanilla by Dua. I haven't smelled either scent in a long time, but I think the 25 Indochine is a bit in that direction, if my memory serves me right. Furthermore, it dips very roughly into the world of an Angelique Noire by Guerlain.

The fragrance starts with this great cardamom spice. The honey can also already be felt in the background. Over time, this naturally becomes a little more intense.
Furthermore, it simply has this mega nice vanilla touch, even though no vanilla is listed. We also have this resinous sweetness from the benzoin. Benzoin just always works, I love this accord.
The fragrance is also relatively dry and reminds me a little of pipe tobacco, mega!
In general, a really beautiful fragrance that I think deserves much more attention.
I generally find Pierre Guillaume fragrances very interesting and really good!
