You rattling beauty
I am very lucky to have received a signed bottle of Bisous Bisous as a gift for my birthday.
Excitedly, I opened the parcel and realized that Roja had also cut corners here. No more beautiful wooden box, but an elaborate cardboard box that closes with a magnet. Nice to look at, but no more wood.
The bottle still looks high-quality and is very elegant thanks to Roja's hand-applied signature on the back. Without the signature, the whole thing would be missing something.
Now to the most important thing, the star in the box. I'm sharing with you a first impression based on about four days, mostly with about six sprays on different parts of my body.
Let's start with the positives:
The fragrance only feels a little chemical, if at all, in the first ten minutes, although "chemical" is really the wrong word. The first few minutes are simply difficult to classify. It was much easier for me when I had the components of the top note in front of me, as the note that could smell chemical is clearly the strong, tart bergamot. From my point of view, however, this component does not seem cheap at all, but simply very potent, which could give the impression that the note is not particularly natural.
After around 30 minutes, I notice a gentle cherry note, very dignified, but really extremely elegant. This is accompanied by a wonderful sweetness. Many describe this component as "cotton candy", and I have to say that the description fits extremely well. I have never perceived this note in this form in a fragrance as beautiful and rounded as in Bisous Bisous. After the cherry recedes into the background, the beautiful vanilla comes to the fore, always enveloped in a magical cotton candy God, I like this transition! The fragrance alone up to this point is really something special. It is changeable and, in my opinion, difficult to compare with other fragrances. For me, the whole picture is harmonious and, above all, natural.
Let's move on to the negative aspects:
The durability on my skin decreases significantly after about six to seven hours. It is then only perceptible very close to the skin and can only be guessed at after about eight hours. If you spray it on your clothes, however, it lasts a good nine to ten hours! The tiresome issue of sillage with Roja fragrances is also present here. In the first three to four hours, it is definitely still perceptible to those around you, but only subtly. After five hours, the fragrance unfortunately barely exudes any presence, but is still clearly perceptible on clothing.
We certainly don't need to talk about the price. As with almost all Roja fragrances, the performance is disproportionate to what you have to pay for it. 495 pounds really is an announcement!
To summarize:
The quality of the fragrance is really unique and I really like it. Even as a man, the fragrance never comes across as too sweet, but those who only prefer tart fragrances are definitely not well served here. If you can live with the rather moderate and weak sillage, you will get a really beautiful, incomparable, natural fragrance that, if it is noticed, will ensure one or two compliments. In my opinion, a really good release!

Between tenderness and seduction
Bisous Bisous, what a wonderful fragrance. In France, a bisous is the typical kiss on the cheek, a loving ritual of greeting. Bisous Bisous therefore means kiss kiss. A kiss on the left, a kiss on the right.

The main component of the fragrance, the cherry, was chosen deliberately as it always appears in pairs. Even though it is the star of the fragrance, it is only subtle at the beginning.

Bisous Bisous opens with a truly surprising aromatic note of lavandin. Lavandin is a very potent lavender note that serves to prevent the cherry note from becoming too sweet. Initially, the lavender lends the fragrance a classic elegance and is therefore slightly reminiscent of a fougère. The beginning of Bisous Bisous is perfectly balanced and, despite its fougère character, never makes it seem like an Italian barbershop.

After a short time, a fine, delicate cherry joins in. As it progresses, it becomes significantly fruitier, but never too sweet. Bisous Bisous undergoes a clear change from the classic, almost tart top note to a juicy cherry.

The base of the fragrance is softly bedded on warm amber and creamy sandalwood. The cotton candy lends a subtly sweeter ambery base without ever appearing artificial. In combination with the discreetly dry and creamy woods, the result is an amber so delicately sweetened that it has the effect of a brief sensual moment, just like a bisous.
